List of Scott Kellner's Reviews
Dr. Kellner was very unprofessional and disrespectful when he approached my husband and me at our most recent appointment. He is not our primary doctor or the doctor we were seeing at the time of our visit. We had already discussed all concerns and care options with Dr. Kopsick, the doctor who we were seeing for the visit. Dr. Kopsick went to discuss our decided upon care options with his overseeing doctor—Dr. Kellner. Dr. Kellner came back into the room with Dr. Kopsick and automatically requested for me to sit on the table to look at swelling on my “knee” which was not where the swelling was and he became angry when I corrected him and told him that it was my leg that had the swelling. He automatically began calling me angry and noncompliant after all I did was stand up and sit on the exam table after telling him that it was in fact my leg that has the swelling. He began speaking very loudly while less than two feet away from me about how we need to find another doctor who knows what we want since he can’t read my mind. My husband and I were both very stunned by his unprofessional attitude and feedback. We both spoke up to inform him that we had already discussed and agreed upon care options with Dr. Kopsick and we were at the appointment for a follow up as requested by our prior care provider. Dr. Kellner was very disrespectful and loud the entire 2 minutes he was in the room before storming out. As we were checking out from the appointment at the checkout desk, he approached us again saying he apologized and that he had felt “attacked” when he entered the exam room. He also stated that he did not know we were seeing a doctor that was not who we saw the previous appointment since that doctor had been placed in another area for the day. In our exam room was me, my husband, and our 3 children. He was corrected and his ego was apparently attacked. There is no reasonable explanations that can be provided regarding his unprofessional demeanor and feedback. I told the checkout operator, our primary doctor, and the doctor we were seeing during this visit that we want it documented that we never want to see or speak with Dr. Kellner again. He then left a horrible note in my chart stating that I was angry and noncompliant like he had already stated to me during the appointment—all because I corrected him about where the swelling was.
Dr. Kellner is not our typical family doctor (for my husband or myself). He is over resident doctors and came into our room with the resident we were seeing. He was only in the room maybe 2-3 minutes total. We had our 3 children with us and he was all but yelling at me I’m assuming because I corrected him. He said my knee was swollen and I corrected him that the swelling is actually on my leg underneath my knee area. He was very rude and unprofessional. I told several individuals in the anmed facility that I never want this doctor to have access to speak to me again. Especially for his disrespectful behavior to have occurred in front of our children. I would never recommend anyone to go to this doctor. We had already agreed to a plan of care with our resident doctor we were there seeing when Dr. Kellner disrespectfully told me very loudly that I need to find another doctor who can read my mind since he cannot even though we had agreed on a plan of care with our primary doctor.
Dr. Kellner is so wonderful. He is professional and informative to say the least, but his warmth and overall compassion for his patients is truly admirable. I felt so comfortable talking with him and being transparent. He really listened, and took time to hear and understand me. His authenticity shines through and his genuine passion for his field is apparent. I would highly recommend Dr. Kellner to family and friends alike. Last but not least, he has a great sense of humor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
