Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Wesley Carr's Reviews
Dr Carr saved my life.
During last visit, I was placed in the staff break room instead of a patient room. I could all conversations about all patients. Front office turned my account over to collections agency. My bill is PAID IN FULL. I called and my bank called. I have a zero balance. I have been trying to clear this up for three months. Called again today. This time they said their records have me listed as deceased. Dr. Carr's staff say they can nothing about this. UNBELIEVABLE! This is showing up on three credit reports. Read all reviews carefully before going to this doctor.
I went to Dr. Carr as a second opinion in a diagnosis for MS. He diagnosed me firmly with MS, and I decided to continue seeing him for my MS, even though I had to pay out of pocket; he did not accept my insurance. He discussed Tysabri as a treatment for my disease. After the 4th visit with him, he started to act very short with me, and it was like he did not look back on my previous office notes from previous visits, and forgot what he had said to me before. This went on for about a year, and then I requested a copy of my records. When I got a copy of my medical records, I was utterly speechless to what I saw. There was multiple inconsitancy after inconsitancy on his part and multiple mistakes from one visit to the other. When I very nicely confronted him on these problems, he very rudely denied all of it, not realizing I had a copy of all of my records in hand. If you currently see Dr. Carr, get a copy of your records and read them carefully, then run, as fast as you can to another Neurologist. If your are in Anderson, SC you will need to go to Greenville, SC, to find a competant Neuro, because unfortunately, there are none in Anderson. Good Luck
I went to several neurologists before finding Dr. Carr. He is one of the best doctors on my team. He has gone above and beyond in diagnosing and treating me. I was suffering from debilitating migraines when I first saw him over 4 years ago. He has been essential in helping me through a maze of medical issues. My migraines are rare now thanks to Dr. Carr. He really listens. I m not just a file he picks up on his way in the door. His office staff has always been great.
He best look at his front office help! They are so rude it's unbelieveable. I have never been treated and talk to like I was 3. They have tunnel vision and the only thing that matters to them is what they are saying, not what the patient is telling them..I wouldn't recommend this Doctor to anyone in fact I would discourage anyone from going to that office. But there again that is my opinion..
Seems to want to push a lot of studies on to the patients. Really wants to make the Tysabri look really good and makes excuses when it doesn't work for some people.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
