The dentists there give you options and explain it. My hygienist is thorough and does not abuse my gums. I have been some places that felt like I had been assaulted afterwards. Note here, they are great. Highly recommend.

I don't go to the dentist too often, unless I have a problem. I am very lucky with my teeth considering how old they are. I went to see the dentist because I had a sore tooth. X-rays were taken and then the dentist came to speak with me. All the information that I received regarding my ailment was done via the x-rays. And yes, the x-rays tell some of the story, but I would have expected the dentist to actually look into my mouth and at my tooth, which he did not. He told me that there was no infection or root problem. After the appointment I did find a bump on my gum which the dentist would have seen, had he inspected my mouth. Very disappointed! I am now looking to make an appointment with a dental professional who can help me.
