The visit was fine, the follow up didn't exist. I never received a report of a pap smear, no appointment set for a bone density test, and no prescription sent. I called the office twice, and wrote him a confidential letter asking for follow up. I did not receive a response. This goes beyond awful. Really, I would give him a zero.

Had been going to MUSC Hollings Cancer Center for six years. Since I have been doing so well and had not had any issues in five years, they suggested that I go to a doctor that was closer to me. I was a little concerned about seeing a new doctor. However, as soon as I met Dr. Benson, I felt comfortable and less anxious. He listens to you, explains what is going on, makes suggestions, and takes his time. He and his assistant, Helen, were wonderful.

Words cannot express my gratitude enough for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Benson. Last year, we moved to South Carolina and fortunately, after reading other patients’ comments, we schedule an appointment with Dr. Benson in BMH Bluffton offices. It was a stressful time for me since there were lots of things going on and most important, I was going to have my first baby. During every appointment I had with Dr. Benson, he clearly explained what was happening in each stage of the pregnancy. He described in detail every test and procedure I had to take. Dr. Benson helped me and my husband with his positive influence in our lives. His experience and knowledge made me feel confident that we were in great hands for the arrival of our daughter. He is an outstanding professional and truly cares about his patients and their well-being.

Dr. Chris Benson is a highly adept OB-GYN. A colleague of mine recommended him to me, and he performed my abdominal hysterectomy. I felt very safe in his hands. His knowledge is reassuring. He is by far my favorite obgyn. He truly cares for his patients and wants them to feel comfortable. He answers questions, no matter how ridiculous they are and takes his time to ensure the patient comprehends his answers. I've had complications in my pregnancy and have gone for a couple checks that weren't scheduled. He has been understanding each time.
