Went to express care in Port Royal. Dr. Welcker put me at ease right away before telling me I had a more serious condition. This prompted a trip to Beaufort Memorial where he called ahead so I did not have to wait in the waiting room. Great clinician and great personality. Took his time and LISTENED to all my concerns. Did not rush me out the door!

I have lived in Beaufort, SC for about 25 years and I have to say that Dr. Welcker is one of the best doctors I have seen in many years. I recently had to visit the Beaufort Memorial Express Care for a sick visit and was treated with kind and professional care by Dr. Welcker and the nurses on call that day. He has also been my weight loss doctor on and off since about 2018 and is very knowledgeable about medicines for this purpose as well as general medicine, in my opinion.

Excellent care! Time for me to visit again. Staff was friendly and almost 0 wait time. Dr Welcker is a wonderful Doc! I drive over an hour to see him and my treatment is well worth it!

Very friendly and caring doctor. However, getting an appointment is next to impossible. Staff routinely leave the phone off the hook. If you get voice mail they rarely return phone calls. Your best bet is to go in to make an appointment or just hope they can fit you in. My wait time on seeing the doctor ranges from 90 minutes to 2.5 hours.

I have seen Dr. Welcker for several years. He is one of the most caring doctors I have ever encountered. Yes, he is busy--FOR A REASON! His office staff is great and will usually work you in for same day appointments if I or a member of my family is sick. I can't imagine someone would not give him 4 stars for bedside manner as he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He should be cloned.
