Dr. Jones is very knowledgeable and takes his time to explain your condition, treatment options and likely outcomes. He takes his time to ensure all of questions are addressed and you're clear on your specific plan and timeline moving forward. Dr. Jones is always prompt on any and all follow up and on post-surgery where he again provides excellent follow-up and communication to ensure your recovery remains on track. His staff is friendly and extremely helpful in obtaining any and all the necessary insurance approvals, scheduling pre-op testing, appointments, etc.

Best doc I ever had.

After 37 years as a registered nurse and my family history of arthritis, I'd become unable to walk, sit or sleep due to my knee pain. I could no longer work, even sitting at a desk job caused instability and difficulty in walking. 10 weeks after my 2nd knee replacement by Dr. Jones, I returned to the operating room as a full time RN. I never thought I'd be back doing something I love. Additionally, I lost 50 pounds of weight gained due to my inactivity. Life changing surgeon and surgery.

Dr Jones is an incredible Orthopedic Surgeon. He has attended to me many times. I fell and fractured my left wrist. Dr Jonea and Becky Jones came in after working all day in the Hampton area and took me to surgery that night to set my wrist. The fracture was very bad and after all his hard work the fracture would not hold placement. So a few days later he took me back to surger and inserted an External Fixator to hold the bones in place. It was wonderful and I now have more strength in my left hand than my right and I'm very right handed. Dr Jones also did a Total Left Knee Replacement for me. The incision is so fine I have to look very close to see it. No pain and I walk with no problems. Much better than before, with absolutely no Pain. I now need a Total right Hip Replacement. No one but Dr Jones will do this surgery. His bedside manners are above and beyond. I've had other problems that he was able to take care of in his office, but he listens to what I have to say and does his best to correct the problem. Dr Jones and Becky have always been there when I needed them and did their very best!! You just can't ask for any more or any better!!

Bait and Switch, tells the patient he preforms anterior approach hip sugary. Then when surgery is scheduled he tries to change to posterior approach. Wasted 3 months several doctor visits, lab tests and pain to find out what he can not do.

Was visiting friends in Beaufort & needed the services of Dr. Jones. was very pleased with the care I received.

Wait times are excessive an hour, two hours or more. Time spent with the physician is minimal. It took over a year and a half to be diagnosed with the correct condition by another physician who took the time to examine my complaints and ordered an MRI. During that year and a half the pain was relentless and the injections were contraindicated and actually exacerbated my condition. Appointments are often rescheduled due to " on call". It has been 6 months now since surgery was performed and I explained to his staff that I am in extreme pain and still have to wait weeks to see Dr Jones Once again his office staff called me to reschedule my long awaited appointment. I appreciate Dr Jones warm manner and expertise in his field. He is considered the best. If proper testing had been ordered it would have yielded an earlier diagnosis, unnecessary injections, and most likely earlier recovery. Instead I'm still in pain and awaiting an appointment. Surgery for me unfortunately feels unsuccessful and the waiting game makes it difficult to be a highly supportive fan.

Dr Jones may be the best orthopedist in the world, but his office staff is so poor that I would not return. The first visit involved a 40 minute wait in the waiting room.Before my second visit they called to postpone and suggested I see his nurse, who was "just as good as the doctor". I said I preferred seeing the doctor,and they got a little bit rude. At my third visit I waited over half an hour, then asked why the delay. The front desk said they could not recall seeing me previously, and said I had no insurance referral. I called insurance company and straightened that out, but still had to wait another 20 minutes to get in. The final straw was when they injected me with a med that was contraindicated for a chronic condition I have. That evening I had frightening side effects that necessitated my phoning my family doctor for advice. Dr Jones himself is friendly and knowledgeable, but I've changed orthopedists so as to not have to deal with his staff again.
