Had a colonoscopy today at BMH. Dr. Crisologo and the nursing staff at the BMH Ambulatory Surgery Center were terrific. Overall great experience, all things considered!
Knowledgeable,caring,great gastroenterologist.
Had a colonoscopy and 6 polyps were found. Thankfully the biopsy indicated no problem though I needed to be proactive to get the results posted to the portal. I don’t think this is normal but had much discomfort for over a week. Not sure this is the doctor for me.
Dr. Crisologo is caring and very knowledgeable. He takes the time to discuss your concerns in a very thoughtful manner. Both my husband and I see Dr. C and highly recommend him.

In March 2022 I made an appointment to see Dr. Crisologo, the appointment was set for June 14 1:15. On June 14 at 12:00 noon, one hoir and fifteen minutes before my appointment. I received an email, saying that "due to an emergency" Dr. Crisologo was not in the office and I was to call and reschedule. I called the office and was told that in fact there was a "scheduling conflict". I had alrready waited 3 monthe to see Dr. Crisologo and now there is a "scheduling conflict". Tried to make a new appointment and the first thing available was in October, 4 months away. Who does this clown think he is. He cancels and I have to wait 4 Months to see him, no way. What a joke, guy can't even run an office efficently and he wants to be my health care provide??
His office does not communicate with his patients. When you finally do get someone they really do not care about urgency of needing to see the doctor. I had test done in May , was told they'd set up apt three weeks out, that date came no apt. Called three different times to try to get one. They made one without consulting me ( which I could not keep as I would be out of country) and was told next one is in Oct! which would be 5 months out. I know that something was found on one of the test because my internal medicine doctor called and told me to make sure to get in taken care of as soon as possible????? I should not have heard it from another doctor. Dr. Crisologo should have called. I think he just uses all his time scoping and not following up on his patients. I do not recommend.
Dr. Crisologo is the best diagnostician I have ever met. His bedside manner is kind caring and sensitive. It takes time to listen to the patient and explain procedures.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
