List of Karen M Eller's Reviews
I was in extreme pain from pinched nerves in my spine. Dr. Eller was able to identify the source of the inflammation and administer a cortisone injection that has all but eliminated the pain until I can get into physical therapy to ameliorate my structural issues. I found her caring, professional and very intelligent!
I can’t say I didn’t see this coming in the medical field, but wow, to have my pregnant wife denied medical attention based on her vaccination status is beyond ridiculous. She does not suffer from chronic pain, but rather is dealing with a very painful SI joint as a result of the pregnancy. She has gone from exercising twice a day every day to being nearly immobile overnight. Her orthopedist prescribed her PT and referred her here for a cortisone shot. When she called to schedule her appointment, she was denied coverage because she is not vaccinated. Can you tell me the long-term effects of this vaccine on an unborn child? Can you give me and long-term research on the effects of this vaccine on the recipients? She has chosen not to vaccinate because of the pregnancy. I realize you can choose not to provide us with medical care, but shame on you for not taking extenuating circumstances into consideration but rather blanket denying care based on vaccination status. I hope that you will reconsider this baseless policy.
Dr. Eller and her staff are absolutely fantastic! Today I had my first ever injection in my lower back and was somewhat apprehensive but they made me as comfortable as possible! I highly recommend them !! Thanks Dr.Eller, Rachael and Hanna for your professionalism!! and joking around 😊
I highly recommend Dr Eller. She helped me with chronic daily migraines for years and finally referred me to MUSC for Botox injections. Though I had tried Botox four previous times with four other doctors, Dr Mimi Sohn explained that it would take a year of treatment for Botox to take effect. I have been almost migraine free since that year ended. In addition, Dr. Eller helped my husband’s chronic back pain with injections. Finally she recommended a spinal stimulator, which actually did help. However, meanwhile, he had several back surgeries which did not relieve his pain, and he contracted an e-coli infection during the first of these surgeries. This was what killed him in the end so obviously not recommended! Dr Eller was so supportive during all of this, and I’ll never forget her kindness.
Provided great service
great!
Dr Eller has been open to trying several ways to manage my chronic back pain. Seeing improvement but not pain free yet.
Absolutely run do not walk away. This so called "doctor" horror in a lab coat. Take your money and insurance to a reputable doctor that cares about his or her patients.
I have a congenital spinal deformity causing debilitating pain & a malabsorption condition preventing med absorption. MUSC had me on 24mgs/day of buprenorphine while pregnant, then my PCP returned me to my regular 10mgs hydro 3/day. She left town, and Eller said she'd decided I had no deformity, wouldn't write the medication that was keeping me from being bedridden, as it had for YEARS, cause SHE didn't think I needed it and she was "the queen bee here". Scared, crying - she did not care.
Most important...she listens and hears what you are saying. Obviously knows what she is doing. Managed my pain. Office staff good as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
