My 11 year old came in with a broken leg and improperly applied cast that cut her leg--not his fault. Dr. Stoddard cuts the cast off and holds my daughter's leg in his hand as the cut is bleeding and she is crying out in pain. I ask him to be gentle as she was only 11 and he muttered something like, "She'll be okay." His bedside manner is lacking. Maybe he reserves his best for others, but we did not see it. The follow-up appointments we with Laika (not sure if that is spelled correctly). She is amazing and gentle.

Hes a awesome Doctor

I'm not sure of these comments re; bedside manner. I found the doctor to be very professional and knowledgeable. His staff was able to make time for me on very short notice. He also has many years of experience which I find far more comforting than his bedside manner. Just my opinion.

Cannot diagnose spinal cord injuries due to instability in cervical vertebrae

He said there is nothing wrong and I am lying about being in pain, the following is what was found at the neurological and spinal institute of Savannah after I saw stoddard and is proof of stoddards SLANDER AND LIBEL!!! C2-3: segmentation anamoly. There is partial fusion of the intervertebral disc space and unusual configuration of the left facet joint. C3-4: Left sided facet arthrosis, and mild disc bulging. There is an area of hyperintensity in the cord suspicious for cord edema (SCI). C4-5: congenital segmentation anomaly and right sided facet arthrosis. C5-6: posterior disc bulging with left sided neuroforaminal stenosis. C6-7: Broad-based central disc protrusion indenting the ventral aspect of the spinal cord. After knowing dr stoddard missed ALL of this I would urge people NOT to go see him

Jocelyn the nurse there is amazing.. took her time to make sure all our questions were answered, and when it was time to schedule for a test to be done she went out her way to make sure it was scheduled around my son's school hours so he didn't have to miss school. We ended up having to take him to charleston and she even made a disc with all his images he had done so I could take it with me and not have to go thru the hassle of retrieving them myself. I was very thankful for her and believe whatever they r paying this woman it needs to be more! And sure hope they appreciate her the way she deserves to be

I've never met a physician with absolutely no bedside manner until I met Stoddard! He has no compassion for you and the pain you are experiencing. Never said hello or had Any response to my questions. He was rude to me and to the nursing staff at the hospital. If I had not had my life in his hands before surgery, I would have told him what I thought of him and punched him! Thank goodness I never had to see him again as I always saw his PA and nurse.

I saw Dr Stoddard for right thumb pain. I felt it was about average wait time and staff very pleasant. Dr Stoddard was kind, professional and listened to my concerns. All of my questions were answered and the Dr did not rush my visit. I have a follow up appointment to schedule my surgery which I trust will be successful.
