I tried two urology groups before I finally found Dr.Plazk In Beaufort. So thankful I finally found his practice. He is thoughtful, listens carefully and asks important questions to get a person diagnosed correctly. Highly recommended!

Having been to another Doctor, prior to my visit to Dr. Plzak, I was about to go for a procedure known as "TURP". I spoke to several friends and was recommended to see Dr. Plzak before I decided on the TURP procedure. I am thankful I did. Dr. Plzak has recommended that I take a small dose of a generic drug for a month and see him again. As things are turning out, my urge to urinate has decreased and I am sleeping much better. I recommend Dr. Plzak very highly,

I visited Dr. Plzak to try and get to the bottom of Testicular pain I was having. He did a cursory examination and did a bladder ultrasound. He never explained why he did the ultrasound, or the results. He prescribed antibiotics for an infection which did nothing. On my return visit, he was busy trying to impress a young resident, and referred me to a general surgeon on supposed suspicion of a hernia. After waiting 6 weeks due to the Corona virus, I finally saw the surgeon, who was surprised at the lack of testing and the diagnosis of Dr. Plzak. He examined me and found no evidence of a hernia, and wants me to return to Dr. Plzak, who I have no confidence in anymore. I will try and find a more thorough and knowledgeable doctor for future testing.

Extremely rude staff, not only with myself, but with other professionals involved in my healthcare. The wait time isn't awful, however, I will not be back. I have visited 4x in the past year and nothing has changed except for me changing my specialist. Dr. Plzak can be short with answers to questions and has gotten a little pompous since I first started seeing him. Not impressed.

Dr. Plzak is a really nice guy, very knowledgeable, and very gentle. I went in for a cystoscopy (never had one before), and it was super easy! I've had pap smears that were more uncomfortable. He explained my condition, what he was doing and why, all very well. His staff are all very helpful. Dr. Plzak was running late from a surgery, and they kept me updated, but I don't think I even waited 30 minutes. The gentleman who did my ultrasound - unfortunately I didn't get his name - was kind and funny as well.
