Dr. Thompson is extremely rude. I do not trust anyone with that attitude To write me any prescription, nor do I trust them with my health

The first time I was seen by Dr. Thompson, I had a great experience. Unfortunately, it has only gone down from there. My exams feel rushed. My appointments never start on time, and I’m talking 45 minutes behind with no apology or explanation or heads up. Today, I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes before finally another patient was called back, and I then asked why I had been waiting so long. The nurse then told me I didn’t check in, which I in fact did with the two women up front who told me to go ahead to the waiting room. By the time I had spoken up, I was told “there’s still two patients ahead of you.” You would think that if you saw a patient on your schedule not checked in, you would check the waiting room just in case a mistake was made. But not here. They offered to get me in that afternoon as if I didn’t tell them I was already running late for my work. Of course I can’t be late and then leave work again. Overall, I just don’t think this office staff pays much attention to detail or their patients. If you want a late, rushed exam/visit, this is your place to go.

Horrible doctor. I had a missed miscarriage which was treated with an abortion pill. I reported minor pain afterward and was pressured by Dr. Thompson into emergency exploratory surgery. I was told I could go home and die although nothing showed on the ultrasound. She was over an hour late for surgery. Afterward, upon awakening, she refused to answer my questions and laughed at me saying I wouldn’t remember. Terribly rude. Took advantage of me to make a quick buck as a young naive girl. Would not recommend to anyone.

Dr. Soldrea Thompson exemplifies the delivery of patient-centered care. Dr. Thompson's expertise, experience, patience, communication style, detailed explanations and overall delivery of care are second to none in my experience. Her support and confidence in me at a time when others turned their back, has truly changed my health outcomes in a positive way. I fully endorse Dr. Soldrea Thompson for your healthcare needs, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Thompson!

She’s terrific: She spent a lot of time talking with me, and informed me of recent developments in assessing tests that might not be appropriate. I so appreciated my previous gyn physician, who had to leave practice for health reasons, but I’m confident that I’ve found another high quality and personable caregiver. (I researched the credentials of the new physicians BMH hired for the OB-GYN practice and was particularly impressed with hers, so chose to drive to Bluffton an hour to be treated by her.) I never post evaluations, but am happy to do so for her.

Dr. Thompson was a good listener and didn't waste any time. Very efficient. She also provided me with straightforward explanations and answered my questions. I look forward to a long relationship with this terrific practitioner.

Dr Thompson was the oncall physician when I went into the hospital twice in early labor with my son. Both times I was sent home even though I was leaking what turned out to be my amniotic fluid which was never tested. She sent me home both times and I ultimately had to deliver my deceased son who was 38 weeks (to term). Had Dr Thompson tested my drainage or even bothered to come to the hospital to see me I’d be holding my son rather then visiting his grave.

So first I went to the wrong office. They kindly rescheduled me. Then I completely forgot about the rescheduled appointment and showed up 20 or so min. late. They could not have been kinder! Dr. Thompson was thorough and professional and took the time to explain screening regimens to me. She is my ob/gyn!

Had the best experience with Dr. Thompson. She spent over an hour discussing my situation and explaining everything to me. When she said she would call me the following day with information she did just that. I was very happy with her and am so thankful to have found someone I like just as much as my previous doctor.
