List of Stephen Fedec's Reviews
The Nurse checked me in and did an EKG and vitals. I had mentioned I was having left chest pain which was radiating to my left collarbone and to my back now for about a half hour. She was the best!! Dr. Fedec came in about 15 min later and I mentioned the chest pain and it was radiating to my collarbone and back. He said that was called atypical chest pain and not related to a heart attack. He listened to my heart and said my heart sounded good and EKG was abnormal due to my Inverted T wave. Asked if I had questions and walked out. Wow! Funny the visit note you get from the patient portal stated that he needed to keep an eye on my left ventrical and valve. That’s scary! Said he’d see me in 6 mo instead of a year. Hmmm!
When you arrive 5 minutes late for a doctor's appointment, it shouldn't be a big deal. I mean, how many times do you have to wait 30 - 60 minutes because "we are running late today? " So I wasn't ready for them to say - "Dr Fedec will want to know why you are late." Or, "wait here, I'll find out if he will still see you." One star, folks. One star!
I Just called to reach the cardiologists office and didn't even get to speak to anyone before getting put on hold. I kept hearing I had 1 caller ahead of me. Well, I finally stopped waiting after 10 minutes. I realize they were closing early, but I just had a quick question, and it was 10 minutes before close. Not happy right now with the front desk staff.
Dr Steven Fedec is an attentive and an excellent cardiologist He saved my life when I was once admitted to a hospital in nj for a bradycardia due to blood pressure medications. I feel regretted for not following up with him for over a long time . * 1 particular non - medicinal therapy he recommended was swimming because he evidently discovered that through the improvement of my blood pressure on couple of my office visitation . Unfortunately when I decided to follow up with him , he had moved to South Carolina * I will be glad if he accepts virtual consultations . He is always amongst the best cardiologist and I will recommend patients to him if needed . Thank you dr Fedec for a job well done 👍 From yd Nj
Dr. Fedec, along with EVERYONE I have encountered has just been OUTSTANDING!!!! A definite caring attitude from Dr. Fedec and everyone. Although a VERY demanding time for me Dr. Fedec was excellent in taking time to explain things to me and do everything he could to help me thru this event. Same goes for ALL of the nurses and techs!!
Ended up seeing Dr. Fedec b/c the MD I wanted to see was booked out to May and I was told following an E.R. visit for chest pain and shortness of breath to F/U with a cardiologist. Saw Dr. Fedec within 48 hrs. of my E.R. visit. He spoke with me about 5 minutes and put me on a Beta Blocker (but never shared what the medicine did...my B.P. was 121/85. Scheduled and Echo and Nuclear Stress Test both out more than 14 days. Quick to want my deductible at checkout even though I assured them it had been met with the E.R visit the previous night. Chest pain and shortness of breath continued and the next day I walked into the E.R. and requested a D-Dimer test and was found to have 2 DVT's in my leg and numerous embolisms in both lungs. The test saved my life. Every MD who saw me in the E.R. asked why I was put on a Beta Blocker and discontinued it...Feel like this practice is just out to make sure they get paid. In the future if I need a cardio practice it won't be Heart and Vascular Care Inc!
Dr. Fedec's nurse hooked me up with EKG monitors but wouldn't tell me any results, then Dr. Fedec refused, through ignoring and talking over me three different times to answer my questions regarding the EKG reading, and the reading and graph have yet to ever be posted on Athena. He said I was to go home (never back to teaching) terrified of sudden death, await the arrival of a life vest, continue to sit home, not start Cardiac Rehab without said life vest (for which Anthem had already refused to pay before I was discharged from the hospital, even though I was confined 3 extra days there), I was to have a useless echocardiogram near the end of January, the implantation of an ICD by the first week or so of February, convalesce for 2 to 3 months, and then I MIGHT seek part-time employment in a bank or department store, ... as if those jobs would be less stressful than light teaching duties, ... especially after teaching by proxy and paying with sick days for a sub all those months.
Great visit

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
