There is a shortage of docs in Bluffton. If there were not this person would have No patients. Not a good experience.
Brian Anderson
Had my first appointment with Dr Anderson, my annual physical. He was very friendly and thorough and spent a great deal of time with me. He was honest and forthright in what I need to do to be healthier. Follow-ups on my blood work were faster than I expected.
Dr Anderson always does a great job, very complete and compassionate.
One of the best doctors in the low country. Cares about his patients and will give you the straight truth. He believes in exercise and healthy eating vs writing prescriptions.
My husband had lab work in September 2021, didn’t get the results until Jan. 2022. Was told everything looked ok and to keep drinking water. Was told to come back in 4 months. He doesn’t know why because he did no lab work. Waste of time and money. Didn’t even ask if he had any problems. Would not recommend him.
Took my 94 year old Mom to see Dr Anderson for a health and prescription review. When addressing her need for Xanax for high anxiety issues, Dr Anderson became very argumentative, insisting she didn’t need the medication at all. This doctor has no compassion for any anxiety-related illness and what patients go through who have it. He was very unprofessional (slamming his stool against the wall and slamming the office door). I would not recommend this doctor to anyone
Awful?? Does not listen at all. He forms an opinion quickly and tries to belittle ur opinion. He will send you out to many doctors for invasive testing just to make himself look better. Do not go to him. He will leave you without your prescriptions and doesn't care. He is negligent.
While waiting for first appt 5 or 6 people came in with problems getting their Rx and even a nurse with problems getting papers for a hospice patient. We were in need of RX's as we waited 4 months for an appt and all 4 were called in wrong , or not called in or filled with blue dye which would kill me and with a broken back no pain killer in, which I have taken once a week for 20 years now back totally broken nice way to treat person whose disability is caused by serving their country. Staff rude, and even labs were not explained just thrown at us when we went in to get them, and he is firing us, like we would return?
Dr Anderson is arrogant without reason. He does not care about his patients. He has twice now refused to refill my antidepressant (Effexor 300mg qd) causing me to suffer discontinuation syndrome. I even did what he asked and made the appointment with a Psychiatrist rather than my usual Psychologist. I have a fatal heart condition and he wants to play games. Do NOT see Dr Anderson! I’ve been in medicine over 30 years. This man does not live up to the oath. If it walks like a duck…

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
