You can always know how satisfied a staff is for who they work for, and the absolutely friendly staff at St. Joseph Candler, Bluffton Campus definitely does a great job welcoming patience and of course Dr. Gary Thomas is not only the best Oncologist but also the kindest doctor there is and such a great listener. It is always a pleasure going into this office.

Dr. Thomas handled my Mother's Lymphoma when she had it 10 years ago, and he is handling her current relapse. He is professional, personable, and caring. He takes the time to ensure my mother understands what's going on with her treatment plan and answers any questions in a way that a layperson can understand. His office is efficient and responds promptly when clinical issues arise. All of these things make a very troubling time much easier to handle. I highly recommend this Doctor.

My husband and I have been extremely happy about our medical care since we have moved here ten years ago and Dr. Thomas is at the top. Not only is he the smartest doctor but has such healing words. This is because he truly cares about his patients. He is a listener, and very thorough. He just really cares about people. Lucky to have him as a doctor.

My 41 yr old husband was diagnosed with a type of lymphoma. Dr. Thomas, was amazing to us. He walked us through everything. Hugged me and reassured me our family would get through this trying time. I feel confident with him and his staff. God placed him in our life for a reason and we are grateful Dr.Thomas is ready to fight along Beside us!

Used to be very good, but declined since joining Candler. Have experienced medication errors, billing errors, lack of continuity of care. Poor communication....nurses never give clear explanations or provide through respones to questions. Used to see doctor then got shifted to nurse practitioner without any discussion with patient/family as to why the change was made. Doctor has not seen patient for 2 years. Lost confidence in how this practice is run. Looking for a different doctor.
