The staff in Dr. Cotter’s office was very caring. They genuinely care. They ask more questions than I have been asked in a long time. And Dr. Cotter is so nice. He takes time to explain why he is doing the treatment plan that he chooses and listens to your concerns no matter how long it takes. When checking out, his staff goes every detail and gives you a piece of paper with everything detailed out so you do not forget anything. The nurse even gives you her direct number in case you have any questions or need anything after your visit. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cotter and his office.

He was fine in the 1st visit. The 2nd visit was unnecessary. Tests were normal. I didn't need to come and pay for him to tell me that. Additionally when I discussed aspects of the test I had learned he was dismissive of me. Since than I met with a GI and learned the HIDA test he did was very unreliable and probably the wrong test.

Dr Cotter saw me prior to surgery explained everything and surgery went well. Hospital staff friendly, polite, explained things & professional, 5 stars for H-staff.

Rude, condescending, and impersonal. I would not send my worst enemy to see this man. Also, pretty sure he is de-frauding insurance companies with his billing practices.

Rude, condescending, and impersonal. I would not send my worst adversary to see him. Also, I'm pretty sure he is de-frauding insurance companies with his billing practices. Seeing that I was sole patient in his office while I was there, I understand why he inflated his time spent with me.

He is an excellent doctor I have been seeing him for over 3 years now. He just did a hernia surgery for me. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We were shocked that we had to pay Dr Cotter a copay and a Coastal Carolina Health (his office) theSame copay. All Because he is a wound specialist ! We ended up paying $200 and still went to aDermatologist and got it taken care of for $50!!!!
