Horrible!!! Not sure he even deserves a star. I had dealt with a great Eye Doctor up North who dealt with all of my eye issues and I was quite pleased. Dealing with the office of Dr. Farr was not something that I have ever dealt with before. I felt he was more interested in his cosmetic surgery division than my my eyes. Over six months I was told that every test needed to be documented separately because of Medicare. In the six months I was there I had months for testing even though he had my past records regarding glaucoma and cataracts. Over $1000.00 in his pocket for billing separately which included my 35.00 copays. Now I find out that this is totally untrue regarding what the technician had told me regarding Medicare. The tests could have been done all at one time. I just switched today to Bishop Eye Care and it was a breath of fresh air!

I had a great experience at my visit with Dr Farr. From start to finish his staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and educated me on so many aspects of my eye health. The wait time was within the normal doctor visit wait time and rightfully so. They did not rush me and focused on my care. Dr Farr is by far one of the best eye doctors I have ever seen. I now have an understanding of what is going on with my vision and my options to manage it. Sometimes we are told things we don't want to hear about our health but this is one experience I am glad I had. I would recommend this doctor to anyone who wants to be in skilled expert hands. You should not put a price on your vision.

The doctor was "ok" but I am now looking for a new doc...the negative experiences all the other's have talked about, I have had too. Rude office staff, prescriptions not being called in, glasses made poorly, poor customer service, pushing procedures that are not paid for by insurance and asking like it's an everyday cost. It felt like a used car lot...I even think my prescription was so rushed through it isn't correct. BEWARE and don't go there...I spoke to the doc about my experience and he said they were aware but nothing has been done.

This review isn't about any specific individual/Doctor, I wasn't even permitted to see a Dr today. It is about the overall experience with Sun Gate Medical Group. This is my first time leaving a review for anything in my life – I wish I had more hands to give SunGate Medical Group FOUR Thumbs Down. Arrived slightly late for a 3pm appointment today (3:18pm) to be precise, and was turned away by an obnoxious, smug receptionist. God help me that I had a work call that ran long and couldn’t miss. Last week, they cancelled on me same day hours before the appointment, screwing up my entire schedule and wasting several hours of time. This is after, of course, filling out all their BS forms online to SAVE time when you arrive a their offices. And on top of that, a very close family member just spent ~$13,000 at their practice in the last month. Do yourselves a favor and find another provider – hard pass on these greedy clowns. Their actions speak for themselves, avoid at all costs.

Nothing went well. Patient BEWARE.. Overbooked, Long Waits, Pushing every eye products he makes commission on. Pushes UNNEEDED tests...Patient BEWARE...I would give 0 stars but not available

A unbelievable genius that goes above and beyond. Took great care of me and my mother.

Very knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to make sure I understood my condition and treatments; all staff were kind and efficient; really appreciated the positive experience.

1.5 hour wait for yesterday's appointment,scheduled 3 weeks ago and reconfirmed Dec. 6th, 2018.

Tried to talk me into expensive unwanted appointments and elective surgery that ins won't cover, when I simply wanted a contact lens Rx. After I said no way I'd spend that much money they pressured me to to have the unwanted procedures by pushing a payment plan at me. Felt like, and told them, his priority seemed to be to make money, while my priority was to have affordable eye care. I got my contact lenses. Never going back. I'll find another doctor next time even if I have to drive further.

Remarkable experience with recent cataract/vision procedure. Dr. Farr and his staff are top notch. The procedure was painless and effortless. My "new" vision is near 20/20. I am totally satisfied. J. P. Dennis
