List of Lynn Goetze's Reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Goetz for many years and never had a bad experience. Awesome doctor.would highly recommend.
I have gone to Dr Goetz for one year. Everytime I have an appointment with her, I make excuses for her bedside manner. My last visit was the last straw. I had an appointment to go over my blood work. I called ahead one week prior to my appointment and said I am having another medical issue. They said no problem. I had the first appointment after lunch. Dr Goetz came in the office and said to me, her words not mine, “you don’t get a shave and a haircut, either a shave or a haircut. I am running a business here and you have 20 minutes!” I can’t make this up!! Please don’t waste your time seeing this doctor. There are many other doctors in the low country with compassion and a professional manner. Luckily I found another physician with a professional, caring demeanor and you will too!! Don’t waste your time!!
A very good doctor probably save my life anyone who bad mouths her that's your problem she tells it like it is and that's what I like about her she does not sugarcoat anything
Dr Goethe has no manners and rushes through a physical. She doe s not allow questions and put you in a very uncomfortable position. I will not see her again after being treated as I was. Quite frankly she is not worth your time.
While I would give the nurse, Miranda, five stars for her compassionate approach and friendly demeanor, I would give ZERO stars for Dr. Lynn Goetz. (How I wish I had reviews before agreeing to see her, instead of the PA). I waited months to get an appt to establish care with a new doctor, and within minutes of meeting her, she was rude, arrogant and confrontational, berating me for choices made in my personal health care. (I take no meds, and am extremely healthy). I said, "this isn't going well, can we start over?" I was told "You're outta here!!" I certainly was - I left in tears, shaking and extremely embarrassed in front of a full waiting room, blood pressure through the roof - and this in a week that saw multiple mass shootings, everyone on edge. "Dr" Goetz needs to remember her Hippocratic oath - "First, do no harm." Hugs to the thoughtful and kind ladies in the front office, you made a terrible situation better. Be kind to one another, we truly need it right now.

Telling me I'm uneducated?!) Hugs to the thoughtful and kind ladies in the front office, you made a terrible situation better. Be kind to one another, we truly need it right now.
I wish there was an option for zero stars. I’ve been seeing Dr. Goetze for approximately 6 years. She has always been dismissive and temperamental but I don’t have serious health issues and see her once or twice a year for med refills and my annual physical and bloodwork. I needed to have contraceptive counseling in order to take a new med prescribed by another specialist. This specialist sent the form to her and I was told she wouldn’t sign. I figured this was due to her needing to see me face to face and my call to the office was not returned, so I scheduled an appointment and she refused to see me or talk to me. She sent a non-medical staff person in to tell me she would not sign the form or see me. If she is unable to speak with an existing patient about contraceptives she has no business practicing medicine. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
After complaining about an after hours phone call, our PA assumed we were leaving the practice. At our next appt she argued with us over a misunderstanding. After I complained, Dr. Goetze called me and said they were dropping us as patients because we had "breached confidence" with our PA by complaining to her supervisor. Dr. Goetze was arrogant and uncaring even saying we needed to "stop talking too much" during appts. I was shocked to hear a Dr say this, but at least she showed her true colors
My visit with Dr. Goetze was horrible. She is rude, condescending, judgmental, obnoxious and does not seem able to have an intelligent conversation. I needed a medication refill for a serious medical condition because my own provider was unavailable. Dr. G. screamed at me and implied that I only wanted the meds to abuse them! (I am extremely fearful of addiction so I'm very careful about what I ingest.) Since she does not discuss patient concerns, her medical ability is suspect. I'm a strong person but I left her office shaking! I will never return and highly recommend avoiding her.
After seeing some of the feedback, I was concerned. Dr. Goetz is my mother's doctor. My mom is almost 82 and in the advanced stages of dementia (Alzheimer's). She couldn't have been better, in my opinion. My dad and I took mom to the appointment. Once in the exam room, the nurse/aide asked if we had any concerns. I gave her all of mine. When the doctor came in, she was great with both of my parents. She was concerned about my mom and the advancing of the disease. She had great answers to my conc

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
