Best Doctor in Bluffton. He takes his time with his patients, he gives you time to tell him all your worries,and he always makes you feel better after your visit.

Dr Cummings is one of the best doctors in the area. He ‘s kind and patient. I never feel rushed, he takes the time to listen and always follows up. I highly recommend.

I originally used Palmetto Medical as my primary care provider as I had heard good things regarding Doctor Cummings. HOWEVER, in the three years with them, I never once got to see or talk with him directly. Instead I was always seen and treated by a office PA. In hindsight, she never paid any sort of attention to my specific medical history. Her treatments were only textbook principles. She cited that I had a couple severe medical conditions, recommended medication with terrible side effects. Both conditions which in the end turned out to not be the case. I started to question the care and service that I was getting, realizing this is not a good situation for me so I searched and switch to a different practice where I now see a real "MEDICAL DOCTOR" not a PA who has given me more personalized service. He proved that I did not have a medical conditions that she had cited.

Like many places they dont care about patience just moving people thru as fast as they can. My appointment was at 2:20pm today and typical HHI traffic i walked in the door right at 2:30pm. The guy at the counter could not find my appointment so asked me to sit down. I sat down and read a few of my emails then I picked up a book on the table and read about the grand canyon, then about the place in Venezuela that the movie the lost world was filmed at so it was about 9 to 10 minutes i sat there until they called me to counter. The guy at counter said that they only give a 10 minute grace period if your late and i was 24 minutes late. If he would have found my appointment when i got there i would have been able to be seen but because i guess he doesn't know the software they use very well so i didn't get to see the doctor that really needed to see me because of my lab work or something and she couldn't just tell me on the phone. Oh well hope its not to bad. There are way better medical practices in the area and they appreciate the people that come and see them. Do not go here they really can care less about helping people.

Dr. Cummings staff told me on the phone today that Dr. Cummings told them that nobody can get shingles twice. I live in a retirement community and I can tell you that many people have gotten shingles twice, including me at this very moment. I have asked pharmacists & other doctors and they say "yes" you can get it twice. As a matter of fact I myself asked him when I had it last time if it is possible to get it again and he said no which surprised me because I've heard of people getting it the 2nd time. I asked for a prescription that would help with the rash and he prescribed 2 days worth which is not sufficient according to online information I have read. They will not prescribe more than those 2 days worth, and I am leaving town tomorrow morning early. I have always liked Dr. Cummings but I do not feel that he has done some tests that are needed at my age of 75 years old, for example --artery testing etc. when I expressed to him that I had some pain in that area, etc. etc.

Awesome doctor and staff. He has a very efficient office with excellent care and no significant waiting. He is one of the most popular doctors in the area and deservedly so. I’m a retired physician and could not ask for better care from any of my colleagues.

My wife and I are both seen by Dr Cummings. He and his staff are excellent and always there when we need them. Responsive and responsible. I recommend them highy

His patient load to way too high. He now has a PA with the worst personality ever.
