List of Tidewatch Er's Reviews
Useless. Do not go here. Do not waste your time traveling here. Arrived with a patient prone in the back of the car who could not speak while sitting or standing. Nurse on desk at 9pm on 101921 completely flat out refused to cooperate with us or offer any solution for the patient. Stated that staff could not help patient out of the car as there where only two nurses on staff told us his two daughters to figure out how to move him. Stated there was no way to wheel him back immediately even though this is an emergency clinic. She stated he would NEED to be seated upright and do his OWN PAPERWORK to be brought back. Absolutely incorrect and not a policy of any emergency room. We asked if check in questions like name and DOB could be asked to the patient while he was still in the car because she stated we could not answer those questions for him. She said no. She blatantly misrepresented policy. None of this was communicated with a professional demeanor. She seemed personally offended that we had entered the building. Went to Beaufort Memorial and were helped out of the car by two nurses can you believe that? patient was wheeled back immediately and we completed his paperwork to check him in. Absolute scam and waste of real estate.
I was referred to the ER by the urgent care as they stated any further tests would need to come from a hospital. I’d been diagnosed with a kidney infection the week before. I felt better but today I had flank pain which got worse during the day. Naturally I was concerned. As it turns out my infection was clearing. Dr. Forrest Estes proceeded to tell me with a smile on his face how completely healthy I was. He even went so far as to tell me I’d never been better. Meanwhile I’m miserable but no worries. He was absolutely ecstatic. It was a humiliating degrading experience. I understand why he works in an ER. No one would come to this guys practice. I will never come back.Edited note. Someone did reach out to me and I called back. They never actually touched base. Not that I thought anyone from this company would care but I had hoped. In addition the bill was $2600.00 for a dehumanizing experience. DO NOT GO HERE
Got transferred to a nurse and I wanted to be sure they had the equipment to accurately help me. Have been having extreme stomach pain with a burning sensation and wanted to know if they had ultrasound. Sometimes youll go somewhere just to be told to go elsewhere to have something checked out so I called. Nurse on phone was extremely rude and curt when all I was trying to do was make sure I didnt waste 3 hours of my life going to the wrong place. First told me they dont give medical advice over the phone when all I did was explain what was going on so I could could her another question and she cut me off. Just flat out rude to someone who only wanted help. Thanks 👍 Ill be sure to never go there.
Please be aware of the outrageous prices that the Tidewatch Emergency Department charges. My husband went there to get stiches in his hand 7 stiches a 45 minute visit Tidewatch submitted a bill for $7056. Part of the bill was $3546 just for walking in the door. So beware.
If I could rate this place a 12 star I would. The service was substandard. No treatment was given. It took longer to check in than time spent in ER room. The RN needs their license revoked and needs to find another job outside of healthcare
Total waste of time Total joke They were rude in the front. Rushed in the back. Didnt even check anything except from my blood pressure and temperature. They told me they would give me 2 prescriptions and instead they gave me a prescription for my Adderall. Will not be going back.
We took our 2 year old here after she fell and hurt her leg. They were fast and we were happy with the care. Highly recommend if you’re local or visiting and in a jam
Everyone was friendly except the person who discharged me who was quite rude. I asked her about a couple questions I had she responded like I was stupid and responded very exasperated. She interrupted repeatedly. She was talking with her coworker who asked if I was a special case. At the end she was apologizing to another worker for the delay in finally getting me out of there. It seemed as if she decided I came in for no good reason when I was legitimately having chest pain. Its unfortunate that everyone else was so nice just her. Id give her a rating of 1. The other staff a 4.
This place is a scam. Expect to get a cat scan no matter what your illness. I got one for dehydration. Why? Insurance does not cover it. Imagine that. Been there twice and twice got scanned needlessly. I will never go back. If you can’t trust your provider that is a serious issue. And a violation of the Hippocratic oath.
My mother inlaw had been coughing for the past week. She had a covid test which was negative. She has had pneumonia in the past. Went to a med first in HHI and advised her to get a ct scan. We took her here and they were absolutely fantastic. They took every precaution to make sure they did all testing and ruled out pneumonia. So thankful for their great care

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
