List of Byron N. Bailey's Reviews
Have been going to Dr. Byron Bailey for many years. The patient is his first priority. Very good surgeon and follows up wpatient as needed. I have recommended him to many over the years. His PA and staff are TOPS. Professional knowledgeable and polite and most of all very ethical.I am a retired Hospital CEO so I am familiar to health care as a whole.I highly recommend Dr. Bailey wno reservations about he and staff.RespectfullyK.P.M.
Not only did this man save my dads life in 2006 after an AVM rupture but he also corrected my moms back pain and gave her life back to her Simple tasks were painful for her like standing to cook dinner or wash dishes but now I cant keep up with her. Dr. Bailey simply put is amazing
Dr. Bailey was my doctor and performed my surgery. My main problem was with Ms. Tragerce from the beginning she treated me bad. She was comfrotational when I was in the hospital she argued with me about my neck brace. She said that was not the brace she put on me in surgery I told her this is what I woke up wearing and she continued to arguing with me. The brace I woke wearing was the one I had to pick up before surgery. I was treated as if I did something wrong. During recovery half of the time I asked for over the counter pain relief. During the first follow up appointments there were days that I was in terrible pain and I asked if I could get the lowest dose of prescription pain med as possible. And at that time I was treated as a drug seeker. And she started telling me I didnt need it and the government tracked my pain meds. The last time I had taken an prescription pain med was when I had a kidney stone many years back. Then she sent in a prescription she did not tell me what she ordered. It was a muscle relaxer that I had a very bad reaction to. I looked the med up and was furious. I canceled all my future appointments and will only give bad reviews where ever I can. Kimberly Pirkel
I have been seeing Dr.Bailey and Rose Trageser since 2017. Dr. Bailey tried everything from PT to injections and pain management to relieve my back pain but to no avail. I developed a synovial cyst and required surgery. I had 2 surgeries in 4 months. I am 6 weeks out from the 2nd surgery and am feeling pretty good. Still a good bit of pain but not like the first surgery. The reason I give a 4 star rating is because Patrice their CMA comes across as if she doesnt care. She at times can be rude and condescending. I will never forget when she ripped the foam tape off of my back the day I was having my staples taken out. This was after the first surgery. She took it from the top and just yanked it off. Mind you I had only been out of surgery for 2 weeks. I thought I was going to puke it hurt so badly. There was no rhyme or reason for it other than being rude and mean. She is rude on the phone. I have found that at times messages left for Dr. B and Mrs. Rose get convoluted or are not relayed. I find its like pulling teeth to get to Dr. B. or Mrs. Rose.Again I would give their team a 5 star rating however Patrices incompassionate attitude brings my rating to a 4. I just as soon not have to see her at all. Well see what happens on my Sept. 4 2020 appointment.
He did my cervical spine surgery almost two years ago explains things very thoroughly I was recommended by a friend of mine and I would recommended him for my other family and friends as well ?
Went for lower back pain. Dr. Bailey nailed the problem and I am so indebted to him. Major surgery and very successful and I am no spring chicken Went to quite a few Drs. for their input and they both were 100% wrong. Thank God I went with Dr. Bailey
I have referred a number of people to Dr. Bailey. He is a very competent surgeon. With that said I have had many issues with my back and he told me the first visit that we address one problem at a time. I saw him in Jan to address a new another issue. He told me his office was going to set up appt for xrays etc and they would contact before my next appt. I was scheduled for another appt in June it was cancelled due to COVID and another appt scheduled for September. I received at least 6 confirmation phone calls and emails. I was in the office 30 minutes prior to the appt time sat for 2 hours someone came in pushed around on my back left and Dr. Bailey came in and said follow up would be scheduled follow him out. He spent less than 45 seconds with me and did not explain at all what the plan was going forward. The person that came in pushing on my back said they would look over the MRI when it was complete. What MRI? The one done in Jan or a new one?
My mother had surgery with Dr Bailey recently. This review is not pertaining to Dr Bailey himself. He and Rose have been caring. However Patrice his assistant is just plain rude She has no empathy for the patientAnd I can’t understand why she works in this field when she acts this way toward people
Dr Bailey is an exceptional neurosurgeon and he really cares for his patients. He will only operate on you if he can greatly improve the quality of your life. I am very grateful for him
Dr. Bailey is not only a wonderfully skilled surgeon and diagnostician but a truly wonderfully warm and caring healer. I thank God everyday for this man and for his excellent care of my darling mother.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
