List of Carlysle Barfield's Reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Barfield for close to 10 years and I am very pleased with him. He has helped me tremendously. Thank you Dr Barfield and to all your staff
This office have significant issues with holding to appointment times. Hours of wasted time spent in this waiting room.
Dr. Barfield is extremely knowledgeable in the field of rhumethology. He has treated me for the past nine years for fibromyalgia. Last year I began to show signs of RA. Knowing my family history he sent me for testing. He was correct and has been so very kind to me throughout my treatment process. I am not an easy patient as I have medicine sensitivities fibromyalgia RA IC and a problem with wanting to except any of these conditions. He continues to help me each step of the way. I feel very blessed to have Dr. Barfield in my life. He is very calm and confident and wants the best outcome for each one of his patients. Royxann
Dr Barfield has been very efficient and great with my care. After years of experiencing problems he was the one who finally was able to properly diagnose me and treat me accordingly. Im thankful to have found him as a Dr.
He gets it. I am a happy girl
I have been a Patient of Dr. Barfield since 2001. My experience with him has been only Positive. He helped me regain my life.
I feel Dr Barfield gets most his patients because he states he treats Fibromyalgia. I have had many cortisone shots in my life but never had a dr hurt me so bad. He tells you he needs to find your trigger point before injects you then presses on where it hurts extremely hard then injects you with the cortisone shot. He did this the second time I went back to I told him don’t press on it it hurts to much he claimed he had to. He obviously enjoys inflicting pain . I never went back
One Is the lowest I could give but if it wasn’t I would rate him lower. He does not have basic knowledge of rheumatology infusion treatments or protocols. Which seems extremely unbelievable to me that the rheumatologist doesn’t know these basic protocols. Then he left the country for over a month without providing basic information to the treatment center that would ensure my wife gets her treatment. She has been waiting over a month without the treatment she needs. Run do not walk away from this practice.
I went to see Dr. Barfield to seek help for Fibromyalgia. Besides being confirmed that I have FMS he took my hands and asked me to make a fist. After pushing around a bit he stated that I also have RA. He prescribed me Neurontin and Arthrotec. He gave me a prescription for blood work and one to have xrays taken of my hands. At my second visit I asked him about the results. He claimed he never received my xrays so on my way home I stopped by the place and picked up a copy. At home I put the CD in my computer and studied my hands for 30 minutes and came to the conclusion that the bones in my hand were normal. Before my third appointment with Dr. Barfield I had an appointment with my Pain management Doctor. I asked him if he could take a look at the xray which he did. He also as an expert concluded that my hands were fine. An hour later I gave Barfield the xrays. He left and came back in about 10 minutes. He walked in looked at me and said”You have major damage in your hands and wrists. I am amazed you waited this long to see a rheumatologist. I looked at him and said I knew my hands were just fine. I saw panick in his eyes. I said the game is over you’ll here from my lawyer and walked out.
Very professional..He tells it like it is.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
