Dr Kestner is a GREAT surgeon. He explained the procedure in much detail to make me aware of all options. The surgery and after-care were successful. He and his nurse, Larry, were attentive to my needs and concerns throughout the whole process.

Dr. Kestner has been my ortho for several years. His bedside manner is one you would expect from an old country doctor rather than a younger person. He takes his time, listens, and answers unexplainable questions. His nurse, Larry, is right up there at the top when it comes to patience. I highly recommend SC Sports medicine.

Took my daughter Anna Knight in with a Bunyon. Staff on the ball and when Anna met Dr Kestner she loved him. He was wonderful with her she has Cerebral palsy . Our appt was at 11 we were told to come 30 minutes early. We got there at 10. Before I could get paperwork filled out, we were in a room. 5 minutes later she was getting x-rays. She came back and told me Dr Kestner is cute. Lol 5 minutes later he was in the room. They had other patient's too. Very easy to understand and not a rush to surgery Dr. We are trying different things we were out by 11:00!. Very pleased with our visit. Thank you

Dr Kestner was outstanding! After reading the 3 star review, I expected him to push surgery however, he did just the opposite! he felt the best way to address my foot issue was to wait and see if it became bothersome and if so then make an informed decision. Yes i would highly recommend him. he is very professional and at the same time personable and easily understood. Also, my wait time was excellent as he was nearly exactly on time!

Dr. Kestner was outstanding. My little was in terrible pain and devastated by her broken ankle. He and his team eased her mind and kept us informed the whole time. We did not wait more than an hour after diagnosis to be taken into surgery and fixed her ankle. Grateful to SC Sports Medicine and Dr. Kestner.

I did research on what he spoke to me about and could not find the particular part he mentioned. Everything else he spoke about was on point in my research and after getting a second and third opinion. He pushed for surgery but the other opinions did not recommend surgery. I had other questions to ask but felt it was better not to since it felt like he just wanted to get to the next patient so I gave him 3 stars. He told me 1 thing but then my record shows something else.

We met him for the first time today. He was very thorough and spent much time with us. He will be operating on my husband shattered heal and we feel very confident in his ability. More later, but for now, wow!

Dr. Kestner operated on my ruptured achilles tendon and I'm happy to say that the surgery was a great success. Just as important was the care and follow-up treatment he provided in the rehab to get me back to where I was before the injury. I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone needing a orthopedic surgeon, Dale Savage
