I was referred to Dr. Gertz by NC TEACCH as someone who could manage my autistic son's medication. We called in October and were told we could not get in to be seen until January. When we showed up for our appointment in January, we had been switched to a different doctor who does not specialize in autism without our knowledge or consent and told we would have to wait until May to see Dr. Gertz.

I took my daughter to Dr. Gertz after no one could give me a clear answer ablout her school problems. Dr. Gertz did not immediately suggest medicine as an answer for our quesitons, but she really listened to us and helped develop a plan that worked for us! I would send my best friends to Dr. Gertz. She is a treasure. I wish all doctors wer elike Dr. Gertz!
