My entire family has been going to this practice for 35 years. Dr Alterman--great. Dr Serra--great. I have referred many people here. No more. Now, this Dr Clark has taken over and is running the practice like a used car salesman. Shilling for dollars. Had no idea who I was or that I have 30 years of dental records at this office. He and his staff constantly trying to up-sell. Shill. Even the overly extensive testing, scanning, etc are all designed to ensure they find something--anything--that they can charge you more. I came in for a simple cleaning. I have never had a cavity. I have never had any dental surgery. I have never had any dental pain or problems at all. Ever. After almost 3 hours of waiting, shuffling between rooms, scan upon scan....no cleaning. They refused to clean my teeth unless I come back over time and let them do a portion at a time. Ridiculous. I will not be back and the other members of my family will not be back either. The "practice" just lost 4 patients. I will also call each and every person I have referred to this practice and let them know I no longer recommend.

Recently moved to Charleston and found Harleston Dental, Dr. Clark and his staff were beyond amazing. My son had his best experience having his teeth cleaned, which is saying a lot!!

Dr Clark and his team are the most kind, gentle, and competent dental team I’ve experienced in a long time. Dr Clark was able to save a tooth with a root canal and crown that I had been told by two other dentists that the only treatment was extraction. The crown he did looks great. I’m beyond grateful I found them.

Great staff. Been going here through three dentists now- they've all been amazing. And the support staff is out of this world. They won't try to up sell you or chip a tooth they aren't even working on (looking at you Peninsula Dentistry).
