I have been a patient of Dr Schnell since 2009 after another GI doctor perforated my esophagus. He always has taken excellent care care of me and listens when I am explaining an issue. I have had several EGDs now and all have gone well with no side effects. Excellent physician! Just wish he was still practicing out of the Summerville office!

They are great . If you really need to get there to see them they fit you right in the same day. They're all very friendly and really care about you as a patient. They take the time to listen to your concerns at every visit.

Dr. Schnell is kind, caring and he listens! Too many providers talk and tell you what they think is the problem. Time and time again he has provided great care and communication. It is a lost art. I do strongly recommend him!

Dr. Schnell is a kind and concerned doctor. He took his time to listen to me and worked with me to find the best solution to my problem. He made sure I understood my options and what he suspected was wrong.

Dr. Schnell is an excellent physician in the field of gastroenterology. He has performed two endoscopies with great results. The procedure was painless, and I had no side effects. I highly recommend his professionalism. I also value the skilled nurses and other medical staff at Palmetto Digestive.

I had been having chest/acid reflux issues that were awful. 6 months of tests and different doctors and my issues were still a mystery. I began to think I was going crazy and maybe it was all in my head. I was referred to Dr. Schnell threw my PCP. I went in he took one look at me had a idea of what it was, scheduled some tests and with in a few days I was diagnosed with a hiatial hernia. HE was an amazing dr in every way possible! I highly recommend him to anyone!
