Dr. Reider was my cardiologist in the late 1990s to the mid 2000s. He was a wonderful doctor, competent, professional and personable. When few other doctors permitted it, he allowed me to communicate with him by email in between appointments. He seemed to take a genuine interest in me. This doctor has bullied and treated my friends/patients unfairly. Find a different doctor. When your ego is bigger than listening to your patient. A patient should never have to leave a doctor in tears.

VERBALLY ABUSED my wife for not taking the Covid vaccine despite her antibody levels from prior infection and other health conditions that put her at higher risk for side effects from the vax. Clearly this little man has “god”-syndrome thinking he knows it all. Doctors work for the people and you, sir, have been fired.

Poor beside manner. Belittled me for not taking the covid vaccine. Would not let me get a word in edge wise as to why I did not , due to other health conditions and still having antibodies from covid infection. He went as far as telling me that I am the reason people were dying because I was a anti vaxxer. He had me so upset that I couldn’t even talk with him about issues I was having and left bawling due to his rudeness and almost to the point where it could have considered bullying regarding to getting the covid vaccine. Very unprofessional.

I have been appreciative of the quality care and treatment I have received from Dr. Reider. He was attentive and listened to my concerns and then offered his expert advice/opinion based on 20+ years of experience. He was encouraging and I have been pleased with the care and treatment I have received from him and his colleagues at Coastal Cardiology.

Dr. Rieder and his staff gave me not only top notch medicine to diagnose and treat my damaged heart valve, but treated me with dignity and compassion. You don’t get that everywhere these days. A big thanks to him and everyone at Coastal Cardiology!

Dr. Rieder is, I'm sure to a particularly selection of clientele, lovely. However, I found him to be dismissive, belittling and insulting. He tried to tell me that my heart issues were the result of my once-a-month (sometimes less) cigar smoking and eliminating that would be a "game changer". This is ridiculous. All requests for further testing were not granted and follow through was poor. I quickly found another cardiologist, within the same practice, who is receptive, warm and kind.

Today , after phoning back for stress and eco tests , they tell me I never took eco test ! I had to call them twice to get information on test Dr pinto staff is useless ! I’m a heart attack person with high blood pressure again , I would do research before going to coastal cardiology, they don’t follow up on patients! My blood pressure is very high again and can’t handle the stress of dealing with hospital help that don’t do there job ! I’m trying to get a referral for another heart doctor now ! Before I need to call 911 or go to emergency like I did for my first heart attack! I’ve been dealing with this for over two months

Dr. Rieder was filling in for my doctor. He was caring, kind and took very good care of me. He explained my condition, gave me all the information I needed to decide future action. WHAT A GREAT DOCTOR!
