I went to Dr. Devries for a chronic elbow injury (tennis elbow/lateral epicondylitis). He was very knowledgeable and well versed in my issue and treated my concerns with respect. I underwent a PRP injection which was handled wonderfully. I then went on to receive a Tenex procedure for further treatment. Several months out from my first interaction with him and I am nearly FULLY relieved of my chronic (12 months) elbow pain. Could not recommend him more highly.

Dr. DeVries is one of the best orthopedic surgeons around. He took time with me to explore options to repair a dying scaphoid bone in my wrist. He performed a four bone fusion on my wrist and also successfully fused a Charleston Stingrays players wrist. Dr. Devries was amazingly patient with me in my decision making as I emailed the MRI to several other surgeons to get their opinion. I've had seven surgeries in my lifetime and DeVries has the best bedside manner when he greets you just before surgery.

Very knowledgeable, great listener, takes his time to understand exactly what it is that’s troubling you. From the front office staff to nurses, everyone was incredibly friendly. I never waited in the lobby more than 10 min. Fantastic experience/surgery/recovery

I found Dr Devries after having a bad experience with a different provider and office in Charleston. I am an Operating Room nurse and always make sure I find the best surgeon. I have had successful surgery and visits with Dr Devries. It has been the best experience I have ever had with a medical provider and his office. The OT staff on site is incredible in helping me rehab and kind. I would make sure any family member or friend of mine used Dr Devries.

I had to have bones removed from my hand to hopefully make it work again. I was referred to Dr. DeVries and was told he is the "elite of the elite". He is an excellent doctor, very caring...and he is a quiet, humble man. I have full use of my hand again, and no more pain. This despite him saying 'oh wow, that's a mess" when he saw my xrays LOL

Dr. DeVries is an amazing doctor. He made me feel super comfortable, answered all of my questions about carpal tunnel surgery. The surgery was a breeze just like he said. I highly recommend him!!
