List of MIchael Sagatelian's Reviews
I never felt more humiliated or dehumanized in a doctor’s appointment. This man has no bedside manner, spoke to me like I was a child, and condemned my weight over and over.
Always very professional and friendly. Explains everything in detail.
Let me say this about this doctor. He is very knowledgeable. He was very aggressive in finding out what my problem was. It wasn't an outcome that I wanted. He recommended two other doctors that are very knowledgeable and caring, for that I am indebted to him. He is a straight forward and no nonsense type of doctor. He took the time to explain things to me in our visits. He was the type of doctor that I needed at the time. Thank you Dr. Sagetelian.
Was referred to dr. Sagatellian by my rheumatologist. Had endoscopy and colonoscopy performed. Dr sagatellian always seemed to be in a rush. Bedside manner was lacking much to be desired. Told me there was nothing wrong with me but in the lab reports he noted differently. Now I’m facing cancer that possibly has spread to my pancreas, spleen, and kidneys. Too bad he wasn’t more attentive.
Dr Sagatelian is a great doctor. He and his staff are professional and friendly.
Dr. Sagatelia seems to be a good Doctor but the way they do things is so unethical mabey even illegal. When I went to see him the first time they have you sign. Bunch of papers that say if this happens or that happens it is not our fault. What they are mostly refering to is its not there fault if your insurance dont pay. Well I dont pretend to know how a Doctor interacts with a health care provider geting authorization for any prosedure so ghey tell me my out of pocket like $87 that is my co pay over three providers. I have no deductable and my insurance covers a colonoscopy with no co pay if you are over 50 you just have to pay 5% but they knew all along that it is only covered if it is outpatient not at the surgery center that he uses that he is part owner of they call that ambulatory surgery and it has a $500 co pay thas why they dont tell you because if tjey haf i would have went some place else. Dr Sagatlian had on my first visit ordered labs a lot more that I had already had done by my family Dr. I did not know what for but he did not get aproval and that claim was denied because he checked a box that said he was treating me for obesity. Well i am not obeste. I at that time was 10lb over wheight for my height come to find put hr checkef a bunch of boxes on the form saying he was treating me for like i told him i had lost some weight because i had cut out sugar and was eating healther so he put unexplained weight loss. My health care provider dont cover obesity so they refused to pay labs he ordered that cost $1200 I have ask them several times to amend the form but it has been a year and still not changed.
I have been seeing Dr.Sagatelian since 1999 and he has always been a physician who cares 120 % for his patients. Straight up no run around tells you whats wrong or right about your condition and expects you to do what he tells you to help you to help make yourself well. Very Professional, Caring, Gentel, Knowledgable, Doesn't talk "At You" He "Talks With You" about any Concerns/Question you may have. I trust him completely.
good Dr but ther billing and the way they do things explaing ahead of time what it will cost you and what you insurance will pay is noexistant. They hide the fact that most healh care plans cover most of a colonoscopy if you are over 50 and it is done outpatient but not at a ambulatory sutgery center like his that he is part owner of.
Great doctor, very thorough and friendly.
I've seen Dr John Litchfield, he is the best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
