He has to one of the most competent,compassionate physicians that I have met. He takes time to listen and doesn't give up on a problem. Extremely intelligent. I lost my son,which was also a patient of Dr Shungu, two years ago. Dr Shungu has poured out more love and compassion than I ever expected. My son had a stroke in his sleep at 35. It has impacted both of us but he has been amazing thru it all. De Mock

Dr. Shungu is the best! He has thee best bedside manner. He actively listens, makes suggestions, follows up to see if those suggestions are working, ANY test he order as soon as the results come back he will call you with the results asap and he even follows up with you when he sees tests needed from other drs. Ex. My gyn ordered a mammo and it was past due, he noticed and reminded me to schedule it. Best Dr. ever! Worth the 40 minute ride.
