RUN AWAY.... His office is a joke... They called and tried to re-schedule my surgery three weeks after the surgery date was selected, then called me and told me 5 days before my procedure that I would need to take out a loan to get the procedure... How am I supposed to trust you to perform surgery when you can't get anything correct?

Beware, he operated on my Spine for arthritis, completely hacked my Spine, causing severe right leg pain,,as result had Dr Rohl in New Albany repair my Spine with rods, cage and screws,, he asked me who did this prior surgery I told him Dr Chopko, he said that was a good name for him,,also have met other people who went to Dr Chopko, and they had poor results,,,this was my worse nightmare going to Dr Chopko,,,,a Huge mistake,,,,,,was asked to get in with people suing him, I declined

Terrible experience, he almost killed me taking down ostomy- which should be duck soup for a gastric surgeon. Ended up having to have another surgery with a real surgeon who did a "J"pouch. With medication I must endure daily diarrhea because this nitwit removed excessive tissue at point of cancer surgery. Too bad zero stars isn't an option.
