The Er nurses are very unprofessional I took my 4 year old to the Er for a fever of a 101 she had it for 2 days by Sunday her temp was a 98 by Monday afternoon back to a 101 so I took her to the er and the 2 nurses told me I should have called the 24 hour phone service that her doc has and that a temp of a 101 wasn’t a fever 😡it’s like we walked in on their lunch break I will never go back to this hospital again
Dr Barton is a very caring and knowledgable doctor. There arent many doctors like him...you can tell he genuinely has compassion for his patients.
I was in severe back pain and they saw me within minutes and had a room where I could lie down. A doctor saw me within a few minutes listened to my problem. They gave me a shot to address the immediate pain problem and then gave me a prescription for pain patches. This has been an ongoing problem that they really helped me with. They were very courteous and respectful.
I went to the ER on the 4th of March DUE TO A FALL. They took exrays and said I had a sprained arm. Sent me home with no pain meds. Well come to find out my arm was broke. They cant even read an exray right. So I spent the next 2 weeks in pain before I could get in to see an orthopedic. Had an MRI and it showed the break. I spent the next 2 weeks without a cast and had to endure the pain. So its been 4 weeks and my arm is healing nice but have to have PT. This hospital is terrible They need to learn how to read an exray. Hope no one else has to go through this
Each experience I have had here has been exceptional. When going to the ER with my daughter various reasons she is usually escorted straight back. Within minutes of the nurses taking care of her the doctor is usually in to see her. Everyone that I have encountered at this location has been professional and friendly. Also the time at the site is nothing compared to other hospitals that I have been to. I much prefer to go to this location than the others not in McLeod groups.
Slow
Brought someone else in been here 5 hrs and thats just ridiculous And still here for a leg pain
All Ican do is Smh
Bad staff
This building is actually just an oversized urgent care center. To call this building a hospital would be disrespectful to all the registered nurses and doctors that have gone to medical school and earned their jobs as residents. Lets examine our experience my wife and myself here at the Cheraw McLeod Healthcare.Upon entering the Emergency Room the receptionist was aloof detached and uninterested...We approached the desk to give her information but still the urgency level was at zero. Fast forward 5 minutes of waiting in a completely empty lobby we get called back. Where we were met with a CNA who passed off responsibility to a RN who passed off responsibility to a lost doctor who then escalated the situation with a random misdiagnosis which then escalated to us eventually having to go to Florence McLeod. This building doesnt deserve a star it deserves a zero.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
