List of Danielle Shelley's Reviews
Dr. Shelley delivered my son way back in 2009. I believe we are still dealing with the impact of the botched delivery 13 years later. She was more concerned with her own policy of “I don’t do c-sections” than she was with the health and well-being of my child.
Had been my OB/Gyn for years, but I stopped after she dismissed me twice. The first time "You're too young to be ACTUALLY experiencing those symptoms"; the second I went in while actively in pain for her to see for herself, while I sat my a napkin over lap waiting, she opened the door and from 3 ft away insisted I had the flu because "you work around people. I don't know what you expect me to do." She didn't close the door, never examined me, & sent me packing AFTER I paid in full for the appointment. However, I do have friends that love her abrupt and direct bedside manner & kept her for all their pregnancies. They are "normal" without any complications and would fall right in that average of the bell curve. If you have questions, concerns (that can't be answered by a pamphlet), or anything odd --> see a doctor who will listen & help you get a real diagnosis. FYI - it wasn't the flu but a burst cyst from PCOS.
Dr. Danielle Shelley is a wonderful OB/GYN. She is very thorough and takes time to make sure all your questions and concerns are answered. I really like how she meets with me in her office after the exam. I highly recommend Dr. Shelley.
Dr. Shelley was my OB through my 1st three pregnancies. She was always patient with all my detailed questions about pregnancy and being a new mom. She is intelligent and calm and never seemed to rush through appointments. I missed her very much when I had my last baby after moving to another state. Highly recommend!
"Didn't have time to look at my referral notes from my doctor" said I had no cyst when clearly I saw it on my chart. She kept saying the only thing that would help me was birth control. Did not care about my concerns at all. Very adamant that basically her way is the only right way. She does not make any personal connection to get to know patients and what they see best fit for themselves. If you need an OBGYN my advice would be run from this one. You are welcome in advance.
I absolutely love Dr Shelley... she knows what she’s doing and she was very helpful with both of my pregnancies/deliveries. She may seem blunt, but that’s how she is. She doesn’t want to sugar-coat anything and I needed a doctor like that. Everyone who is writing negative comments are probably just butt hurt cus she told them the truth and they didn’t like it. She’s very professional and the only reason she takes long at appointments sometimes is because she has to deliver babies upstairs (she can’t help that!) love her so much
Dr. Shelley has been my doctor for both of my pregnancies. She gives you her time and is willing to discuss all of the options. She has been doing this a long time and wants to make sure you don't sell yourself short of the process. Some may take this as a negative, but I found her guidance helpful. I would recommend her.
Is very flippant. Does not take your concerns seriously. Would not recommend taking your dog to her.
Horrible. Very flippant about patient concerns. I don't like feeling like my concerns were blown off by the doctor. Stick with one of the older, more knowledgeable physicians in her office. Avoid this doctor like the plague.
I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I just moved so I transferred to this doctor. I waited over 2 hours for my 10 min appt. The nurse was kind of rude. Then the doctor wasn't the most pleasant person...shes nice, but kind of annoying. Insists on me getting the flu shot when I said I didn't want one, insists on getting some other vaccines...which are fine but I just don't really trust her to be honest. So I'll be getting another doctor. I'd try another doctor if I were you. No one has time to sit for 2 + hours for appts.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
