List of Jerry Sherrill's Reviews
Dr. Sherrill has the worst bedside manner I have ever heard of or seen. In my last visit he was condescending, did not listen to my concerns, made rude comments, then he made “Christian” comments… something is wrong here! I do not trust him with my health. He does NOT need to be practicing anymore.
Worst experience with this doctor I ever had at a doctor visit! He is immediately judgmental, very rude, no compassion! He made smarta** comments during my exam. I don’t appreciate the documentation in my records. He discounted my pain. I have chronic pain with MRIs showing medical issues . I do NOT recommend this doctor!
I liked Dr Sherrill, he put me out of work and I was just trying to get a weekly dis payment from a policy I had through my work, had no money and no food , yes I was kinda freaking out but I was not rude, just asking them to please fill out my papers so I can get my check. He DISSMISSED me!!!!....
I was with my daughter today who saw Dr. Sherrill. He was gentle, kind, and kept us laughing at his silly neurology jokes. He was very thorough with his exam of my daughter, well over an hour, and set up several tests to help with her diagnosis. I highly recommend him. He was not scary at all, extremely considerate, and made us both very comfortable with his care.
I have been going to Dr. Sherrill for several years. I thank God for leading me to him. He is very thorough and attentive. Always listens to my questions and provides answers. Before seeing him I woke with a migraine and went to bed with a migraine more often than not. Almost every day. I lost many days having to lay in the dark in misery. He gave me a quality of life that I had been missing out on for so long. He has the best bed side manner of any Dr. I've seen. He is always his same happy, cheerful, joking self every single time. He has always put me at ease. He never has made me feel silly or belittled when I ask a question. He is very attentive and kind and always happy to answer. He is a true blessing to my life and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!
I had the exact same experience as you. Very rude, will not listen to what's bothering you. Won't listen to questions. In and out of the room and had no idea anything of my history nor did he care. I am having test done he ordered, but will have a copy of the results to consult another neurologist.
Dr. Sherrill has helped me out greatly with controlling my migraines. I've had them for a while but started to get worse. He made me feel at ease while asking questions and doing some normal test in the office. He had ordered a bunch of test for me while I was there. Sadly they couldn't find out what was causing my migraines but I have them fully under control with proper medications. I have been trying to get them under control with other doctors but no success. I now am having pins and needles in my hands and right foot and they are going to do more test on March 2 to makes sure it's nothing major. I have lower back problems that I am going to physical therapy for. I am hoping that it's not my back and that the pins and needles feeling is coming from a side effect from the medication I am on for my migraines. I can deal with that!
Should NOT be practicing. Is not professional. Added things to my chart that was not true. Got a second opinion. Do NOT go to this doctor.
This doctor diagnosed me with having Elipepsy after a head concussion months before. He ordered an EEG. I was told I had Epilepsy over the phone, not very professional. Was put on Keppra twice a day. I did alot of research as I didn't think the description and conditions I felt fit this diagnosis. I also got a second opinion from a doctor in Greenville. After doing a second EEG I was told it was normal!! I am being weaned off the medications. If you go to this doctor, get another opinion. His NP did all the work. All he did was introduce himself, shake my hand, tell me a joke and walk out of the room. No exam at all from him. After he found out I got a second opinion, he dumped me as a patient!! I would have dumped him anyway!!
My only interaction with Dr. Sherrill came after his NP Lori Rash called me with the results of my EEG. I was told over the phone I had Epilepsy. When I went to Dr. Sherrils office to talk about the MRI results, Lori Rash was very nice and informative, explaining everything on the pictures of my brain that indicated Epilepsy. Then Dr. Sherrill came into the room, introduced himself and shook my hand. He then said "Everything she says is correct. You know how I know that?" I said "How?" He thumped his chest and said "Because I told her" and he walked out of the room. I guess that was my exam. Wonder what that will cost me. In the meantime , I wanted a second opinion as Epilepsy is a serious diagnosis and scared the sh-t out of me. While waiting for the results of the second opinion I called Lori Rash to ask for a refill on the med she had prescribed for me. I was told she would not refill my script and I was no longer under their care!! I was dumped for getting a second opinion. So I called Dr Hakimi in Greenville and got my prescription filled immediately. Guess I dodged a bullet. I found Dr Sherrill to be rude and uncaring. I never got an exam from him but I bet I get billed for it. And his jokes are not appropriate. I will never go back there. So glad I got booted for asking for another opinion. And telling a person they have Epilepsy over the phone is nuts!! Very unprofessional!! Avoid at all costs!! Go to Greenville.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
