Arthritis Knee Pain Centers's Online Review Report Card

I’m just leaving the Arthritis Knee Pain Center for my fifth and last injection. My knee feels so much better (98% better)! My knee was bone on bone and after the first injection I felt a major difference. I'm so glad I got a second opinion and they were my second opinion! If you have a knee issue check them out. I'm telling you they are the truth! Arthritis Knee Pain Center is one of the few that uses a imaging machine while during the injection. And the doctor (Dr Alex Stock MD) is so easy to talk to and explain everything so thoroughly and understandable. The staff upfront and throughout the office are great. Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

The treatment didn't help me very much. I thought it was going to help for a little while but it didn't stop the popping when I stand up. Now when I'm walking I still have a little pain. It probably helps people with limited mobility but if you're able to walk with mild pain I would probably not have the treatment done.

This company has the WORST communications with it's customers I've EVER dealt with. I've tried returning their calls, and get interrogated by the person that answers. We are NEVER connected to who we are calling for. We are told calls will be returned , but they NEVER ARE. I e-mailed them several days ago to see if they received the referral from my doctor. I got no reply. This has happened over and over since I 1st became a customer/client/patient 2 years ago. I guess if I was a pro golfer or football player, you MIGHT talk to me, but I'm neither. What I AM is sick and tired of being treated like CRAP by this company. What I AM is over it. This is a HORRIBLE company to do business with. Last time I went into their PHX office, all they did was try to convince me I needed to buy a $500 knee brace. They are a complete WASTE OF TIME. Oh, and beware of all the HACK attempts from people that ask you to "friend" them on here,

So far I have had the three injections suggested and have no pain. I am able to go down stairs with no pain and just a slight pressure going up. I found the staff to be very helpful. I chose not to get the brace.

ABSOLUTELY Not.....Run as fast as you can from this company. Location refused to see my husband at a scheduled appointment, 4 days after his first injection. He ended up at an emergency Ortho after hours location to have 50 cc's of fluid drained from his knee. One week and 1 day was admitted and remained in the hosptital for 3 days after a flush and drain surgery to remove the staph infection, spent the next 14+ days in a recliner unable to bear ANY weight, received antibiotics 3 times a day for 40 days via a picc line. We have attempted to call, we have sent letters (2 Certified/Return Receipt) to both corporate and the Charlotte location. The Charlotte letter was returned by the USPS stating it had not been picked up. Since we have not received the return receipt back from the Corporate location we can only assume they have not picked up their letter OR refused to respond. To date we have not received any communication either by phone or letter. Customer serivce cannot verify that the Dr. Whalen, MD is associated with the company, one of her data bases says he is and the other says he is not. Hopefully I will receive a call from the CEO momentarly as Stephanie, C/S supervisor, took the time to listen and is escalating the matter. Time will only tell what the next steps will be on our part, NC Board of Medicine report of medical negligence.

Too many shots, too much billing,. not necessary. One shot of gel is sufficient. Get an orthopedic to do !! these places are about money.!!@
