Pleasant staff. Clean office. If you need imaging check them out.
Don’t worry about arriving early. Because you will get here before the appointment and then wait another hour or two. While they let 7 people go in before you, all who came in after you. Make sure to clear your schedule and be ready to make sure they have your information correct. Tell them 4 times on the phone what part of the body the MRI is for and they still have it wrong. I DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone. Go to Palmetto Imaging. Much more thorough and professional than this junk at Clermont Radiology. Should be no stars.
Arrived for my appointment @10:13am today. Here it is 11:20 as I’m typing this. They ask you to arrive 15 minutes early- for some unknown reason as if it makes the process more seamless. I have been sitting here watching people who came in after me go ahead of me- when I asked I was told “she’s running 20 minutes behind” TWENTY MINUTES?! Not to mention I’ve starved myself since 9p so I’m irritated and hungry and they have no sense of urgency! Be back to let you know when I was actually seen and what time I was able to finally leave! 😡 Can’t wait to ask my doctor why in the HELL I was referred to this place! Never even heard of it! Update: Seen 11:34 Left @12:02 The woman performing my ultrasound was very sweet, informative and courteous and apologized for the long wait time- so that subsided my anger a bit but still, DO BETTER!
Office isn't organized!!!!!
When I moved back to Orangeburg, it was due to my mom and sister diagnosed with breast cancer. I was informed by my doctor to have a mammogram twice a year due to family history. I was referred to Clermont in Orangeburg; the radiologists were always friendly and professional. The receptionists were not. When I went in 2020, it was unpleasant. It is always complicated and horrible because the insurance company tells me one thing and Clermont wants to charge an exuberant fee. Due to my having a lump which concerned me, they finally let me have the procedure. I called the insurance company afterwards and they informed me due to my situation, I would not have to pay. I went back on 8/29th, and the experience was awful. First, the receptionist did not speak, smile, or anything. Second, she told me I had a balance, and I should not have. Third, my Dr. ordered it due to my situation. And finally, she rudely informed me that I had to pay $291. 91. What kind of deductible is that? Three days prior, I learned another immediate family member had breast cancer. This heightens my fears. She offered no options; appeared cold, callous and uncaring. She told me either pay the almost $300 or reschedule. I asked if mammograms were offered anywhere else and she nastily replied, "The hospital but they cost more" I will NOT return even if I get the money. I don't trust them at this point and I do not want to give these people my business. I informed the main office in Florida and the person I spoke with was supposed to talk to the director and call me back the next day. Early detection is critical; yet it saddens me that Clermont Radiology is oblivious to that, especially the Orangeburg Office. I will research other places to have the mammogram done even if I have to go out of town. I don't recommend Clermont Radiology in Orangeburg to anyone. Now I have used them in Florida and had a pleasant experience. As a matter of fact, since it is a routine test for women my age, I don't ever recall paying a deductible anywhere and this was before breast cancer was in my family lineage. Go figure.
The lady who does the MRI'S was funky from cigarette smoke, scared me with all that different color make up slapped on her face. Appearence is important when working directly with the public. It gave off scam vibes.
I had an excellent experience. Friendly front desk staff, and technician. Would absolutely recommend!
Overall pretty good experience I was quite surprised by it. From scheduling to front desk reception to imaging techs it was prompt service and their warm and inviting. Employees must be treated well because seem to be content and happy. The company must provide a good working environment.
I will never suggest anyone go to this particular radiology center. I usually have a pelvic ultra sound due to being at risk for ovarian cancer. I had one here & the tech asked had I ever been told I had 2 uteruses. Now, I’m 56yo & have had many of these ultra sounds done. I feel this would’ve been detected prior to this one. They even went as far to send that funding to my NP. I requested another at a different center that is much kinder to their patients, cleaner & much more accurate at diagnosing. My ultrasound from the second place came back much more accurate & I believe was actually read by the radiologist. The one at clermont I believe was not, there was only 1 staff member that was halfway nice. I will NEVER. Step foot in this place again because it just seemed shady & scamming. Beware if your general practioner refers you here.
Nice staff and very beautiful 😍

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
