List of D Scott Schultz Jr Jr's Reviews
I saw Dr. Schultz regarding a problem with my knee and hip. He did and reviewed my x-rays and gave me a very extensive explanation of my results. He answered all my questions and told me what I should and shouldn't be doing. The front office staff were very friendly and helpful.
Dr. Shultz treats people, not just their problems. He is personable and caring.
Very thoughtful. Knows his stuff. Dr Shultz listened and treated me well. He never made me feel like he didn’t have time for me. I as happy thet he made sure that I was medically up to having surgery. I understand that it prevented future problems.
All the staffs were nice and professional.
Dr was very professional. I was very comfortable with him.
This was my 3rd visit with Dr. Schultz. The second visit was very rushed as far as the doctor spending time with me as a patient. I went in September 2022 and was given a steroid injection in my knee, which really worked for approximately 7-9 months. I visited in March because of pain on the right side of my body that was causing me to limp. I informed the doctor that the pain appeared to be coming from my back area but I wasn't sure. I also informed him that I was told at some point that I had arthritis in my back area and legs and sciatica. He did get an xray of the hip area and gave me something for inflammation. I also spoke to him about my knee at that time and requested another injection, but it was dismissed. Although it did work a little( medicine for inflammation), it was only temporary and 3 days later, which was the weekend, I ended up going to Medcare. Once there, I was xrayed again, I was given a shot in the buttock and was advised to reach out to my surgeon because of the shifting of my structure. I was seen approximately 2 weeks later by the PA and had a great visit. He, along with the surgeon reviewed the disk and the shifting of the structure resulted in the surgery completed in 2019 and all appears to be working accordingly at this time. I expressed that I was still having knee pain and was advised to followup with Dr Schultz as needed. I was seen today by Dr Schultz and he preceded to speak to me and address that my knee problem was stemming from my back. It was obvious that he never looked at my records to see that I was there for a knee injection. He wanted to know what kind of injection and I informed him the same one he administered in September 2022. I finally was able to get another injection and was also informed that I possibly had a torn meniscus. This was my first time hearing of this. I am scheduled to have a follow-up with him in August.
Dr. Schultz is a good doctor and he is trying hard to found a way to help me with my knee injury and pain. He understands that I am on my feet alot. And he trying to help me out with the pain. But I know for a fact I will have to have a knee surgery one day. But at this time there no way I can under go this surgery ar anytime soon.
Dr Shultz is an excellent doctor with a good bedside manner.
My appointment was at a convenient time. Staff were very cordial and answered all of the questions that i asked to my satisfaction. my visit with Dr. Schultz went very well. We discussed how my back was doing following my epidural. We decided to allow me to go back to my rehab visits with notes from him on the focus of my exercises. All in all, it was a very good visit.
I was not informed there are multiple entrances to the downtown office and had to be escorted by wheelchair to the opposite side of the facility. This was very painful due to my injury. I waited for over an hour only to be dismissed by Dr Schultz in less than 5 minutes. I had been referred to Dr Schultz by another doctor in the practice because he is supposed to be the hip expert. However, he never physically examined my hip. He pulled and pinched at my knee then said I needed an MRI. I informed him that I cannot have an MRI because I have an implanted device that cannot tolerate one. He insisted he knew what he was doing and that I could even after I gave him the id card that says to call if there are any questions why I cannot go through metal detectors or have MRI’s. He said he would see me again after he got the results. I called the number on my card and they confirmed that under no circumstances can I get an MRI. I have spent over a week in pain thinking I was going to get help and now I have no confidence that I can get any help. I certainly am not going to return to be treated the same way. This was unprofessional and completely unacceptable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
