Had appointment for CT scan but technician never showed up to work. They sent me downtown with a note you collect $1,800 which was false because I have Medicare and a full supplement to pay. Waited 3 hours for my turn because one CT machine broken and MUSC management not planning at that time to replace or fix. The staff was very nice and tried to help everyone.

Went to ER based on medical consult. Directed to see orthopedic Dr. Conveyed this to intake nurse. Within minutes was taken back and Dr immediately came in. Dr Michael Hayes. He looked at the area of issue (recurrent infectious abscess leaking from site of hip replacement surgery.) I showed pictures of progress over a week. His response: surgical scars commonly get abscesses. I had a LIP with surgery that occasionally gets abscesses. I asked if he had his lip replaced or there was a medical device in place. He blew that off and said take d antibiotics and left. Only later did I learn He had no business being in the room as he has no orthopedic experience. To compare a lip infection to a hip replacement infection was bush league medicine. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY and certainly if you encounter Dr Michael Hayes, leave or wait for actual doctor.

The nurses all the staff were horrible we have to call the hit nurse to get something done bathroom was dirty overflowing trash the worst experience I had at a hospital we had in a hospital my sister name is Victoria Harper they let her sit in her own clothes for 2 days she had to ask for a gown ask to help clean the room her IV fell out and it took almost 6 hours for them to put it back in they ignore her ringing the bell for the nurse she's been here for a 9 days and now she's ready to leave

My wife went there after her doctor told her, that she was worried she could have a blood clot. Well turns out it's just a torn muscle, thankfully. However, no pain management other than Motrin? I know the VA doesn't have a great record but they at least gave me a prescription for muscle relaxers, when I had an injury. Oh and the 4 hour wait with an empty waiting area...

My kid had an ear infection and we got in and out of there completely in about 25-30 minutes ! Never before have I done that at any emergency room in 38 years! AMAZING TIMING!!!!! PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK Y'ALL!!!
