They are always busy, they never answer the phone. You have to call several times to get ahold of someone. I feel they are very unorganized but once we see the doctor he is awesome with my son and daughter.

I wish I could speak on their actual Doctor services. This place has dragged me around, taken weeks to get back to me after I gave them the records requested, and finally called back only to tell me they can't schedule me an appointment.After hours of research, and discovering our local pediatrician isn't taking new patients, I decided on Sandhills. We just moved here from Colorado and ended up having to miss my youngest child's 4 month appointment because of the timing of the move. I called Sandhills and they said to just submit the immunization records for my children. My previous pediatrician could either fax them (which would take 4-6 weeks) or email them to me next day, Sandhills does not accept records via email so I decided to receive the email, print them off and drop them off to their office, which is 30+ minutes away from me. I dropped them off and was told I would hear something early the next week (it was a Thursday). The following Friday I called back and was told it would be Monday or Tuesday before I would hear something. It is now the third week since I've dropped them off and finally got a call, only to be told that my oldest child is missing some records from early on (when we were stationed overseas) I said I could get them but it takes time because that clinic takes awhile to get back, especially since there is a time difference. I asked if I could schedule my youngest child for his 6 month well child since his records were up to date and was informed that because my other child doesn't have her full records they can't schedule the youngest. Explain to me how they can't schedule a child that has their up to date records simply because another child doesn't have them? Her records should not affect the care of my baby in any way, shape, or form. But obviously they don't want or need my business. Don't go through here unless you're willing to jump through hoops to get an appointment.

My visit today refused to load so I had to contact my pediatrician to get a completely different link!

I love Sandhills pediatrics! From the front office staffs to the nurses and Dr Dubose he is fantastic! I wouldn’t want my son going to any other pediatrician office but this one!! They care for the safeness of you, your child and the staff. Still requires mask in the building and the call check in line is great so convenient for parents. They also will give you a courtesy call reminding you of the upcoming appointment. This place is wonderful! Dr Dubose and this office will always be recommended by me! Thank you SP (:

My children have been patients at this practice since the day they were born. 2003. Hands down, best group of doctors ever!!

I had my daughter 7 1/2 weeks early this April and once she was released from the Special Care Nursery at the hospital we started taking her to Dr. Whitaker at the Irmo office. He is fantastic - kind, patient, great with our daughter, and explains things well. At the end of our first visit he prayed over our daughter which almost made me cry ❤️

Two consecutive issues… 1st Issue: they set an urgent appointment for my daughter and I was glad because we had a big concern, when we arrived they told us that it was an error and the schedule was set for a different date so, the doctor was not available, or any other doctor, the after half hour they made another appointment for us at a different office so we drove right away to this other location. 2nd Issue: the doctor’s prescription didn’t went out, I call them back from the pharmacy but they were already close (this was Friday), I went to the pharmacy again on Monday and the prescription wasn’t available yet so I call them back and it was ready by Tuesday so we lost 5 days just waiting on the prescription to be sent to the pharmacy and it took me a call per day until they send it.

Dr. Dubose and his staff are always amazing. He has been seeing my son for 13 years and makes is feel like family.

A longer wait than usual but always a good experience. Great doctors, nurses and staff. Thank you for always understanding and supplying us with our special requests as a retired military family.
