Outstanding doctor. I had right hip resurfacing and I was back to running in 6 months and competing in triathlons again prior to the one year point. Zero problems, no pain, and I can"t tell the difference between my hips. I highly recommend him and the procedure.

Dr. Gross is the ultimate professional who openly shares his dedication and success in performing hip resurfacing. His success is supported with long-term results data from the thousands of surgeries he's performed, along with actual videos of the surgical technique. Dr. Gross has not only excelled in this technique, but also trains other orthopedic specialist, while providing detailed care and compassion to help ensure the successful post surgery recovery of his patients. As a recent patient, having undergone this outpatient procedure 6 weeks ago, at age 64, I can appreciate his accomplishments first hand. The details Dr. Gross has published regarding hip resurfacing are rarely provided by mainstream surgeons who perform traditional total hip replacement. As I've shared with many others, if do your research and compare the techniques available before making your decision on which type hip replacement to have, I think you will be convinced. I had an phone consultation with Dr. Gross and he was able to answer all my questions and explained what I needed to do prior to having surgery. I previously had my right hip resurfaced by Dr. Gross, and he has always been very thorough and willing to answer all my questions.

Dr Gross took the time to exam me and look at Xrays. He explained all my options and was encouraging but very truthful about knee surgery and recovery. I trust him with decisions he suggested.
