Dr. Sangtian is the best!!....
Um ótimo pediatra , carinhoso e atencioso.
I love Dr. Sangtian's approach to his patients. My wife had to feed our daughter, he allowed us to use the room after our examination, so we did have to ride with a fussy, hungry, newborn.
Dr Sangtian has doctored both my grandsons from birth to now 13 and 19 My 13 year old went to doctors xare to get rapud test and tested positive for covid Called Dr Sangtisn to ask him to prescribe medicine for nasal congestion and fever but refused because he was taken to Doctors Csre. even though Dr Sangyisn office is not open on Sunday. The remarks from him yo nurse were cery unethical and ryde.
My exhusband insisted that we use Dr Sangtian as our son's pediatrician. I have always used Grand Strand Pediatrics, and continued to use GSP with my other children. My OBGYN placed me on an antidepressant due to a prior postpartum depression with my youngest daughter. My OBGYN prescribed a "safe antidepreesant that could be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding". I also got a second opinion from a pediatrician at GSP. After the birth of my son at Conway, the nurses brought my son to me with instructions from Dr Sangtian that he was to be bottle fed! I had already had this discussion with Dr Sangtian, and produced both my OBGYN and GSP medical opinions on my perscription. He went over my wishes, and while I was recovering from giving birth, told the nurses that my baby wasn't to be breastfed. Needless to say, my son has since been a patient of GSP.
I am a first time parent and Dr. Sangtian was recommended to me by my husbands friends. He seemed a little bit strange when on my first visit there he told us not to use baby wipes on our son. My son was born early and airlifted to MUSC before seeing Dr Sangtain and he never asked about what MUSC did or how his monitor was going (which had to be hooked to him all the time so he saw it weekly for 2 months). When we were trying to find which formula was right for my son he would give us samples and after trying him on one type my son would scream bloody murder and push the bottle away after a drink of it. (He has never done this before he is a great eater) After fighting over the formula and being told to keep him on the one that caused him distress my husband and I finally went to walmart and got a few different types to try him out on, when we finally found a type that he did great on we informed him and he put up a fight about it. It was known to him that I am a chiropractic Assistant at a local chiropractors office on our first visit to the office and some times after that, I have watched my boss adjust newborns for the last 2 years with no problems at all. I had allowed my boss to adjust my son and watched him very carefully with him. My son has never screamed or showed any kind of distress, once we had mentioned how great he was handling the adjustments Dr Sangtian had then decided that he would no longer treat my son, and has refused to release his medical records to us.
I love Dr. Sangtian. We have been going since my son was born and he is 7 now. We moved to Sumter two years ago and I drove the two hours to see him. I live in Northern Va. now and I'm scheduling thier well visits when we go back on spring break.
I only went here because my husbands friends suggested him and being a first time parent we did not know. To start he try's to ban the use of all baby wipes, once he found out that my son was being seen by a chiropractor (who I work for, trust and have seen him adjust infants for the past two years) he dropped us a patient. He also was not very helpful with formula his answer to my son screaming after drinking one gulp of a certain kind was keep him on it hes fine. We had to test on our own.
Dr. Sangtian doesn't believe in chiropractic and will drop your child as a patient if you get them adjusted. How ignorant!
We have had to take our children back multiply times for the same thing. He does not take the time nor explain the situation to parents like he should. I would not recommend him to anyone I know.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
