I was referred to Dr. Benson for Shingles that had spread into my eye and she went out of her way to work me into her schedule a few hours after the referral request. Dr. Benson not only worked me in, she was also very sensitive to my needs and she was very thorough and informative. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr Benson deserves more than a 5-star review. She is passionate about her work, will take time to answer any questions or concerns you might have. I wish we had more doctors in the area like her. I have lived in 6 states, and she stands out as the best. The one thing that surprised me, she will not do procedures if they are not needed. She's in medicine for more than the just the money. That is rare today.

DR. Benson is the best eye doctor I have ever seen and I am 78. She puts you right at ease and her diagnostic skills are right on. I had been going to Charleston for my eye appointments and I had a skilled Ophthalmology Specialist less than 5 miles from my home. So thankful for her. I highly recommend her for any eye problems you have. She takes her time and so positive , extremely knowledgeable a has such a warm personality. Go see her I guarantee you will be seeing better. He staff is also extremely nice and helpful. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with her.

Dr. Benson recently performed cataract surgery on my left eye. She has a pleasant personality and explained things exactly as they took place during the operation. She is confident and this confidence provided a calming effect on me. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering this type of surgery.

I told her I needed me close vision back to as close as she could get it to the current eyeglasses. I didn't have to change my prescription glasses, she was that close. I do a lot of close up work so that was important to me. I am ecstatic, she's the best. Calling today to have the right eye done.
