He got angry and threw his arms up in the air after my gastric emptying study came back positive for gastroparesis. He said he was unable to help me and walked out. I have been in chronic pain and have feared dehydration. I called on the advice of an ER nurse to see what he recommended since I could not keep fluids down. I was told by his assistant, "we cannot help you." He is a GI specialist who does not specialize in gastric motility disorders. It would have been better if he had been calm and referred me to someone who could help.

Dr. Hernandez was very nice. He was detailed and thorough explaining the procedure. He was personable and made me feel comfortable.

There isn’t an option for 0 stars, I was referred to this doctor earlier this year, admittedly I came to him with a lot of medical issues. He successfully put me on a medication regemine that has imporoved my health. Dr. Hernandez has been very rude, and unprofessional in his bedside manner. I have left 2 out of my 3 visits feeling like I was an inconvenience to him. Dr. Hernandez rushed me through my appointment and discouraged any dialogue back in reference to my lab results. As a Dr. he has done alright but as a human being in charge of caring for sick individuals I feel he has failed miserably

I have been three times and have had a very positive experience with him. He talks in plain English and I even get to laugh. He suggested a routine Colonoscopy and said about the prep “don’t trust a fart!” Terrific! Who wants a crusty old doctor that is pompous? Not me. My husband is going to switch to him too.

Very rude, agresive toward the patient, do not let explain situations and do not accept explanation of the facts that the patient presents. Intimidating as well as his nursing staff. Not planning to go back and considering making a report on them.

Very rude...Did not allow me to tell him why I was there! He got in my face and told me to shut my mouth! I told him a good Dr needs to let the patient tell them what problems they are there for... This is not first time I had run in with him...once a few months ago he actually fell asleep! I would not recommend him to anyone! A Dr should have interest of patients ahead of them just writing prescription refills.

This doctor was wonderful. The first appointment he spent an hour with me going through all my past medical history. I have been his patient now for over 2 years and I just love him. I refer him to everyone I know that needs a doctor.
