List of Matthew Desalvo's Reviews
A competent personable caring physician. Dr. Desalvo treated me with thoroughness and efficiency. He explained what he was looking for, the tests ordered and the results. I was lucky to have him caring for me. Thank you Dr. Desalvo!
I had to go to the ER at CMC in March 2023 because of an emergency condition where I was unable to walk. De Salvo was the admitting physician and if I could have left that evening and proceeded to another hospital, I would have proceeded forthwith. When I tried to explain how this ll came about rapidly, he stood across the room with arms folded and said - just tell me why you think we should admit you. I was treated better by the doctors who saved me in Vietnam in 1968.
Dr. Desalvo wrote out scripts in my name that another woman that I do not know tried to have filled at my pharmacy. I know it was Dr. Desalvo who wrote them and passed them fraudulently because he signed the scripts and no one else has access to his computer at the emergency department because the computers lock with an access code moments after the doctors get off of them. I turned him in for this but nothing was done. So use extreme caution when he is treating you in the emergency department. Better yet, ask for another physician all together.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
