Nancy Collins's Online Review Report Card

Dr collins was very rude. She rushed and was very rough with my check up, it literally hurt and she seemed annoyed I tensed up. I didn’t ask her any questions I had because I didn’t feel comfortable. Horrible experience.

Please don't go to Dr. Collins. Rude, dismissive, accusative, uncaring, sarcastic!

I'm a Senior citizen and have seen alot of different doctors ,but she's the best. She's very caring and actually listens.I only wish I could use her as my primary physician.

This is my first pregnancy ever and Dr. Collins had the worst bedside manner ever. She didn’t even ask or acknowledge my husband who was with me in the room. She didn’t even explain to me why she was going to do a smear. I had to ask how far a long I was, and she didn’t even tell me a due date. I asked if she was going to do a beside ultrasound, and implied she couldn’t do it today because she was busy. All they had me do was pee in a cup and I did that at home twice before my visit, and she asked if I started taking prenatal vitamins and talked about down the road I might need to add an iron pill. She didn’t even say “Congratulations.” Needless, to say I found another OB-GYN.

I am going to start by saying these 3 stars are extremely generous. The ONLY reason as to why this office gets the extra 2 stars I allot them is because I really do love Dr. Collins. She’s well-informed, good bed side manner, and very kind- making the whole invasive process as comfortable as it can be. That being said, I am EXTREMELY upset with how this office is operated. Ever since they’ve grown bigger, they are overrun, understaffed, and extraordinarily unprofessional. I was given very upsetting news concerning a Pap, told I needed to be seen as soon as possible and to make the appointment. I called exactly TWO minutes later for them to tell me I would be waiting MONTHS for an appointment to be made. Months…..months…….?!?!?? For an emergency???! This was all done in an extremely insensitive manner by their operating system I may add..My first reaction is to ask if it’s possible to just go to the emergency room as this absolutely cannot wait, so what do they say? “No, an emergency room cannot help you with this matter as they need our assistance with this procedure”. What a load of utter nonsense. I beyond upset with this situation- I am a human being, not a monetary value. If I’m dead before this review is read, my blood is on your hands. Treat your patients with empathy, kindness, and a sense of understanding.

A month ago my mother needed a very serious gynecological surgery and all family members were very concerned about her and undergoing surgery. My mother is 75 years old and she is a foreigner who doesn’t speak English well. I have to say that all our worries were unnecessary because we were blessed with Dr. Nancy Collins and entire Hospital where my mother was operated by Dr. Collins who is an amazing Doctor and Human Being with great Integrity!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Collins to anyone, sincerely!!!

I want to state first, if I had a chance to not have given a star I would have left it blank. She is so dismissive and short answered. The exams for the pap smears is very painful during and afterwards and I have never had discomfort 4 days after one. I told her also about a complaint and she ordered something for me, but did not explain why she ordered it or what it was actually for. So, I cancelled the appointment, then after my research, I tried to reschedule the appt because the pain was persistent, only to be told that I could not reschedule it until after I have another follow up with her. I have not rescheduled due to the unprofessionalism in the office, maybe if there was a different doctor, I might.

Rude beyond belief!! Seems bothered when questions asked. No education or explanation for anything. Sarcastic.

Less than a 1 a -10 should do it. She is the rudest, dismissive and uncaring Doctor I’ve ever encountered she had absolutely no bedside manner if it slapped her in the face. She would actually walk out of the room when I was discussing an issue with her and continued to walk away not looking over her shoulder. She ignored me while giving birth did NOT do an episiotomy on me like it should have and therefore caused me nerve damage I have lived with for 8 yrs now when I came to her about the pain she said I was lying and had no disregard for my well being I had to actually research the problem myself and when I couldn’t take the pain anymore I saw Dr Lukowski who diagnosed me within minutes of the same diagnosis I found while researching. I refused to see Collins ever again her medical license should be revoked. What an awful woman!!
