Awful, unprofessional an uncommunicative.

Should not ever become a doctor because she does not know how to treat people nor does she take time to read their charts. She put on my paperwork that I have marijuana in my system. I have nothing against people who use it because I know it helps people. I do not smoke marijuana cuz it makes me very paranoid. So when we were going over my paperwork she was wanting to treat me for marijuana use. That is someone who does not look at charts and should not ever be a doctor. And her attitude is very poor

If this place and doctor are so bad why is it still open? Is this the best we can do?

Dr shetty does not listen to her patients. She texted our whole session. She was rude and didn't listen to my problems. When she left the room I heard her say the N word in front of her coworkers. She is a racist against blacks. She works at walkama mental health facilitie and the lighthouse. She should have her license removed. She shares joint ownership with the CEO of walkama. She is terrible.

Dr shetty is by far the worst doctor. She had no interest in listening to anything I had to say. She shut me down every time I tried to talk about my problems.she made me feel very uncomfortable.i will NEVER go back to walkama mental health or lighthouse where she works. She is a racist as well. When she was in the other room talking to her coworkers she had used the N word. She should not be directing the facility.she should not be practicing medicine and she should have her nursing license taken away. She is a very poor doctor and is racist against blacks.

This woman is the worst, i got no help and she does not listen, constantly shutting me down and giving me meds. this woman knows and cares to know nothing about anything just a absolute b*tch overall. would leave zero stars but i had to leave something to say this. just go to someone else, it will work out better than going to her

I have seen close to 10 psychiatrists in my lifetime and this lady—Rupa Shetty Ryba*, was by FAR the worst. Married to the CEO of facility at the time, Thomas Ryba, when she “treated” me (July 21). I have never seen someone in the mental health field have such a lack of compassion. I was vastly over medicated for someone my height and weight—doesn’t matter if I was in psychosis or not. My other doctors were astonished when they saw what the strength of the med I was put on COMBINED with the long term shot that was given. I was basically catatonic until the shot wore off weeks later. If I would’ve continued to follow her shot/pill combo, I genuinely would’ve been unable to function in society. It’s important for me to add that I complained about trouble breathing constantly while I was there, but was not coherent enough to figure out why. Either way, no further treatment or testing was done for that. I tested positive for COVID as soon as a PATIENT from the facility called to tell me there was an outbreak after I left. The facility never told me this themselves. I then had to be treated for COVID pneumonia, which could’ve been prevented if they were more vigilant while I was there. Shame on Rupa Shetty Ryba and Shame on Lighthouse Behavioral.

5 min or less session with our child. Diagnosed depression and wanted to throw pills at it. She will not speak with us, the nurses that "support" her are rude. Especially Larry, she made one single call attempt, left no message, did not call the other 3 priority numbers at all.

I would leave a "0" star if that were possible. Refused to help my brother after major surgery even though he has been a patient for over 40 years. Said it was not her job. Thankfully another Psychiatrist took the time to review his chart, listened to present problems and made suggestions on causes and offered med changes. He was improved within 24 hours. Dr. Shetty had no time for this mental health patient and was angry at her staff for even mentioning "something like this" to her. Obviously does not care about her patients. Her laziness and negligence was harmful to not only my brother, but to me as his caregiver.

My Family Nurse Practitioner called the office to ask why they would not help him when it was their job. The nurses hands were tied. Thankfully another Psychiatrist took the time to review his chart, listened to present problems and made suggestions on causes and offered med changes. He was improved within 24 hours. Dr. Shetty had no time for this mental health patient and was angry at her staff for even mentioning "something like this" to her. Obviously does not care about her patients. Her laziness and negligence was harmful to not only my brother, but to me as his caregiver. This Dr. should not be treating patients of any age. She is abusing patients who need someone to look out for them. I have read her reviews online and they are horrible. She punishes patients who do not agree with her by extending their hospital stay and over medicates her patients as well as belittling parents of patients with problems. Definitely should never be caring for mentally ill patients.
