My rating has nothing to do with the Dr. And everything to do with the staff. I have been treated like an ignorant uninformed person. It is the reason I will be changing Doctors.

I have lost complete confidence in Dr. McIver. He treated a spot on my hand for over 18 months as eczema without actually examining my hand. I requested over and over to be referred to a dermatologist. I was finally referred to one in June of this year. The dermatologist took one look at my hand and said it looked like squamous cell cancer. She did a biopsy and it came back as squamous cell cancer. I had to have surgery to remove the cancer. Due to it having taken so long, I ended up with a 3 inch scar, not to mention the pain and the scare that a cancer diagnose causes. Dr. McIver has really slacked off. He never even listens to my heart or my lungs.

I used to like Dr. McIver, but he has really changed. He no longer listens to my heart or lungs. All he goes by is the blood work. As someone with congestive heart failure and COPD, it should be standard procedure. I went for over a year with him misdiagnosing my hand as eczema, without him ever even examining my hand. I requested a referral to a dermatologist several times before I was finally referred. Only to find out that I had squamous cell cancer. I have totally lost faith in him.

The staff was courteous and polite, and Dr. Mac was knowledgeable and helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr McIver for 6+ years. However, I am now questioning the care I have received. I was misdiagnosed for hip pain, which turned out to be hip replacement. And knee pain, which is also leading to knee replacement.
