I already knew the nurses and doctor in the ER were wonderful, skilled and very knowledgeable as they are my co workers. But when my child got sick, they became my actual heros. They were so kind to my child and they touched all the bases to make sure my baby was okay. I thanked them repeatedly but I still don't feel like its enough. They gave me piece of mind about my child and idk how to thank anyone for that. They're all amazing.
Doctor Adams was very unprofessional he Miss represented his self and credentials then when I refused to leave a form blank I wrote my rebuttal that I was not going to sit there for and wait for transport, That I wasn't fact going to take what he said and I was going to sell regional my husband was there so instead of waiting 7 hours I could be there in about 30 minutes but instead he said he would throw the paper way rip it up whatever and tell them that I refused to sign it. This place is a joke they had nurses bringing pills in to work they had nurses bringing their children into work I waited an hour and a 1/2 because 1 of the nurses bringing their children into work I waited n a hour and /2 because 1 of the nurses children was in the triod room playing
Took my child here on 8-10-2020 because she was having stroke symptoms had my oldest daughter with me and was advised that my 8 year old child couldn't receive treatment if my 12 year old wasn't off the property....took her straight to Aiken Regional to be told my child has Bell's Palsy SHAME ON THE EMERGENCY ROOM STAFF!! Refusing services
The Edgefield County Hospital Emergency Room took wonderful care of me when I cut my hand and was bleeding profusely from 2 partially severed arteries. The staff stopped the bleeding, cleaned the wound, and arranged an emergency consultation for me in Augusta at Doctor’s Hospital. I can’t say enough about the professionalism and expertise of the staff and the cleanliness and completeness of the facility.
Do not come here under any circumstances. The physicians are a bunch of backwoods hillbillies that will get you killed.
The Doctors dont run test at all. They only go by what they think is wrong with you. About 4 years ago I had pneumonia but they told me I had a UTI infection. Just left them this morning running a high temp and diarrhea. The doctor didnt even run test. His theory is that its a virus but I work around raw chicken everyday and im thinking I have bird flu or maybe even salmonella poisoning. They are not going to be satisfied until something happens to someone and they have a lawsuit against them.
How inhumane! I was told verbally and it was written on my discharge papers that within 2-3 days IF my test results came back positive, they would contact me...and IF the results were negative there would be no call and I was fine. 3 days passed with no call from them. I called on the 6th day, and the Dr said the test results were POSITIVE for Strep throat! No one called me at all for almost a week...they let me go about in public with a contagion with me under the impression I was fine! A friend got infected from me! Yet when it came to the bill, they left a message saying it was "URGENT" and "IMPERATIVE" that I get in touch with them! So mere numbers are URGENT, but a contagious test results are NOT? That is beyond unethical!
Unbelievable, never in my life have I been treated the way the er staff treated my fiance and I mind you both of are in the medical field and would never dare treat a patient with such disrespect.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
