My name is Carrie and I want to talk about how good Dr. Jordan treat me when I go to see him for my appointments, He is very compassionate and he take time and explain what is going on and he recommended me upstairs to another Dr who take care of hip surgery, I love Dr Jordan as my Dr and recommend him to anyone who is having joint problems. Thank You Dr. Jordan
I have NOTHING good to say about 'Dr" Jordan. He pushed xray and cortisone injection in spite of my telling him the symptoms were akin to a prior Ligament/meniscus issue in my other knee, I found him to be condescending and dismissive. My second appointment I waited 1 hour 20 minutes AFTER going into the exam room. He arrived with another person in tow and did not introduce or ask permission ( which I think is required for providers shadowing), he did not mention anything about the fact that I had been there waiting for over 2 hours, and then he suggested I had arthritis. I took my MRI to another provider out of town, 3 meniscus tears and a partial MCL tear. I promptly had surgery and am now on the mend. I WOULD NOT HAVE HIM TRIM MY DOGS NAILS. I suggest one look outside of Florence for quality medical care.
Dr. Jordan and his staff is very inconsiderate and shows no empathy for me as a patient! I have a bad sprain on my left foot. Had an appointment on October 28, 2021. Dr. Jordan informed me after my appointment that someone will be calling me to set up a appointment for me to get MRI. I waited for several weeks thinking the MRI Department was probably booked with appointments but that wasn’t the case. I called Dr. Jordan’s office on November 15, 2021 to find out why haven’t anyone called me as of yet to get my MRI. A nurse of Dr. Jordan stated to me that a authorization/referral was sent to my insurance company on the 12th of November 2021 and then she quickly changed her statement and stated the authorization/referral was sent out on the 8th of November 2021. The nurse then stated I need to contact my insurance company because they sent over the authorization/referral and they’re just waiting for my insurance company to approve it. I then called my insurance company to see what is the hold up on my authorization/referral being approved? The representative at my insurance company stated they haven’t received anything from McLeod orthopedic since March 2019 and that’s when I had knee surgery. Then on the 16th of November 2021 I asked Dr. Jordan for something for pain and a nurse assistant of his called me back and stated Dr.Jordan refuse to give you anything because he prescribed Gabapentin 300 mg only and that’s because he stated I may have nerve damage! I got 7days of pain medication from emergency room when I first injured my foot on Sept 15th which was hydrocodeine. In 2014 I was diagnose by my physician that I have a stomach ulcer. With Ulcers your not suppose to take any (NSAIDS) Dr. Jordan nurse then called me on November 17th 2021 and stated that Dr.Jordan wrote me a prescription for Meloxicam 15mg and when I got my prescription I read the side affects which stated Meloxicam 15mg can cause my ulcer to bleed or death. I called Dr. Jordan today November 18th 2021 to inform him that he prescribed me medication I can’t take (NSAIDS) and it’s in my chart because I informed him at my appointment that I have a stomach ulcer. His assistant stated that Dr Jordan said he will not write me another prescription I better take over the counter tylenol! This is the worse experience I ever had! Heavenly Father take the wheel.
I was very pleased to see Dr. Jordan regarding the continuous pain in my knee. He had a very personable personality and made me feel at home. He made the time to answer my questions and talk with me regarding my options related to my knee. He was very knowledgeable and explained it where I could truly understand what my choices were. His office staff was very pleasant also. I highly recommend Dr. Art Jordan.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
