Excellent doctor with great bedside manner. Exceptional listener and a very knowledgeable and experienced physician. My experiences have been limited to 3 ER encounters with him but wish I could use him as a primary care physician. Trying to find out if he works in private practice as well as emergency medicine at MUSC.

I absolutely love Dr. Russell. He's one of the only doctors who actually listen and cares for his patients. Thank you for always being at the ER when I go!

We've taken my toddler to the ER 3 times in as many years. Once for a little fall and twice for post surgery complication. Each time we got Dr. Russell and we just adore him. Even my sick/injured toddler likes to see Dr. Russell.

Dr Russell treated me at the ER at Carolina. He is one of the few ER drs that actually takes the time to check you instead of just writing you a prescription and sending you home. He is very comforting and as he talked he talked to me and my fiancé. I would see him as a family physician.
