I would never suggest him! Even to an enemy! He has been a massive disappointment. I have never had such a doctor that is so rude! I went terminate him as my primary caregiver and he begged me to keep him as my doctor. During this meeting, he answered his cell and carried on a conversation! I have been repeatly denied my maintenance medications which I have been on for over 25 yrs and they are extremely essential that I maintain them! I’ve never been so poorly treated! You are fired

Dr. Mattheis is a rude, inappropriate, big headed, know it all. Patients are his second priority to his never ending medical trips. Although you are made aware that there are medical students, but not that they will be unsupervised & a substitute for care from him. I found him careless in his charting, overlooks or agnores test results, nor shares data with patients, he doesn't suggest nor encourage preventive test (ex: colonoscopy).

I would not give him up for anything, I trust him (just don't tell him)I have several problems one of which is Anorexia Nervosa I'm getting in big trouble (not telling him yet) but for some reason he already knows every secret I try. He has stabbed, me admitted me, fussed and fussed some more but he always been reachable and see able. He speaks his mind and doesn't take the word no very well but I feel safe with him watching over, something I don't feel very often right now!
